Jadakiss & Uncle Murda
Young M.A’s buzzing new single “Ooouuu” continues to be instrumental of choice that rappers are using to remix, especially those out of the Tri-State area. Having heard remixes from French Montana & Remy Ma this week, we now have another one that’s found its way online from fellow NYC spitters Jadakiss & Uncle Murda, who add their rugged flavor to the cold-hearted single.
NYC staple Uncle Murda pays homage to a fellow New York rapper with an entire song dedicated to his voice. Murda frames the song around a classic line from "Paid In Full," where Cam'ron's character, Rico, tells Ace, "n*ggas get shot everyday B, you be aight, you tough right?"
We Got The Streets
Maino & Uncle Murda Feat. Dios Moreno
The veteran BK team of Maino and Uncle Murda has been particularly active this year. "Me and Main been on fire, since we dropped Yellow Tape," raps Murda on today's "We Got the Streets," referring to the joint Yellow Tape: King Kong & Godzilla project that they put out in March.
Woo Woo Woo Whoa
After teaming up with Maino a couple months back for the joint effort Yellow Tape, Uncle Murda is already eyeing his next solo project called Lenny Grant Story. Today, the NYC spitter decides to share a new song in its support to hold us over in the meantime called “Woo Woo Woo Whoa.”
After teaming up with his Yellow Tape brother Maino on the track “Shooters Everywhere” a couple days ago, Uncle Murda decides to keep the new music coming, this time taking the solo route on the new song “2 Minutes.”
Shooters Everywhere (Remix)
Maino & Uncle Murda
The "Uber Everywhere" remix/freestyles aren't done just yet, sorry. We've already heard ample takes on Madeintyo's popular beat, but today, two NYC staples give the beat a try. Given the fact that these are generally considered two #hard rappers, they flip the song to "Shooters Everywhere" (and maybe they don't take Ubers). It's definitely an unexpected/interesting production choice for these two gritty New Yorkers, how do you think they handle it? Which "Uber Everywhere" remix has been your favorite thus far? We're sure that more are on the way.
Right Now (Remix)
Uncle Murda Feat. Future, Fabolous & Jadakiss
Last year, Uncle Murda teamed up with Future for a Metro Boomin-produced banger called “Right Now,” and today he’s back with the official remix adding Brooklyn spitters Fabolous & Jadakiss to it.
Maino & Uncle Murda
While there may have been a little setback, Maino & Uncle Murda are still getting ready to release their joint project soon called Yellow Tape. After hitting us with the Manolo Rose-featured track “Thugz Cry” last month, the NYC spitters decide to come through today and hold us over with another leak from the tape called “Worldstar.”
It's All Love (Original)
DJ Absolut Feat. Sheek Louch, Raekwon, Nathaniel & Uncle Murda
DJ Absolut dropped his crew track "It's All Love" crew track back in 2014, which featured a spare sample of The LOX and Biggie's "You'll See". Nathaniel's hook never quite connected with the skeletal boom bap beat, which now makes a lot more sense as Absolut liberates the original mix of the song, which features a much more musical sample.
Rap Up 2015
With just about 24 hours left in the year 2015, Uncle Murda decides to come through and share his annual year-in-review record called “Rap Up 2015.” As usual, the New York emcee runs through some of the most notable rap and (non rap) events of the year, including Drake winning the Meek battle, Weezy tour bus shooting up, Game beating up Stiches, Travis Scott hooking up with Rihanna, Tyga x Kylie, and a ton more. If you need a reminder of this year’s crazy events, then hit play on Murda’s year in review cut now. Thoughts?
Maino & Uncle Murda Feat. Manolo Rose
The KOB Maino and Uncle Murda are all set to release their collaborative mixtape Yellow Tape on December 24th. This afternoon, they dropped a teaser from the project called "Thugz Cry" featuring fellow Brooklynite Manolo Rose. Maino can be hit or miss but here he brings his most ferocious bars, "checking niggas like Car Fax," all in all causing havoc around the borough in which he resides. If you ever wondered what it sounds like when a thug cry... now you know.
Harder Than (Remix)
Maino Feat. Uncle Murda, Dave East & Manolo Rose
Today Maino reminds us that back in October he dropped his King of Brooklyn 3 album, with a remix of "Harder Than Them." The self-proclaimed K.O.B. enlists three fellow New Yorkers (Uncle Murda, Dave East and Manolo Rose) for the "Harder Than Them (Remix)," each attempting to go harder than the rest-- more than a few rappers are mentioned in the process, including Rick Ross, Lil Wayne, DJ Khaled, Jay Z, Drake, Meek Mill, Puff, Pac and the list goes on. Do you think they really went harder than all those dudes?
I Declare War
Chris Rivers Feat. Uncle Murda & Whispers
Inheritor of his father Big Pun's incredible hardbody flow, Chris Rivers continues to move towards his Medicated Consumption mixtape (due out October 21st) with a new single “I Declare War." Rivers recruits Uncla Murda to bring his patented East New York street bars, as well as Whispers to handle hook duties.
Money And Power
Vado Feat. DJ Khaled, Ace Hood, Mavado & Uncle Murda
DJ Khaled has proved himself to be an unstoppable force, and this time he teams up with We The Best Music Group Ace Hood, & Mavado along with Uncle Murda for a new joint called "Money and Power."
Uncle Murda Feat. Future
Future and Metro Boomin currently have the ear of every rapper in the game, even a dyed in the wool Brooklyn rapper like Uncle Murda. Looking for a taste of that dirty sprite, Murda recruits the ATL pair for his newest track "Right Now." Murda retains his usual gravelly flow and raps as usual about some extra-hood shit, thought his words take on a different flavor when infused with Metro's groggy vapor of a beat. Those promethazine fumes are inescapable no matter where you are the rap universe. Do you want to see Murda rap on more beats like this?
Love My Niggas
Maino Feat. Vado & Uncle Murda
After a minor setback, Maino finally released the third installment in his King Of Brooklyn mixtape series on Tuesday morning. Laced with 17 tracks, the follow up to last year’s album features guest appearances from Chinx, Vado, Uncle Murda, Kevin Gates, and many more.
Cassidy Feat. Maino, Papoose, Dave East, Uncle Murda, FAT TREL & Vado
Cassidy continues to keep the new music coming. After hitting us with the track “Lets Go Champ”, the Philly native decides to return and give his March release “MMM” the MEGA-remix treatment, recruiting Fred Money, Vado, Uncle Murda, Vado, JR Writer, Fat Trel, Dave East, Chubby Jag, Compton Menace, Red Café, Papoose, Drag-On, and Fred Da Godson.
Real Niggas Back (Remix)
Maino Feat. Uncle Murda
Four months ago, Uncle Murda teamed up with Young Greatness for a pretty remarkable track called "Real Niggas Back," and today, Maino has remixed it with help from Murda. Stream it below.
Yesterday we got Skillz' edition of the hip-hop year in review, and today, Uncle Murda takes a stab at it too. The New York rapper runs through some notable rap (and non-rap) events on "Rap Up," from Instagram taking away followers and Mase proceeding to hop off the Gram, to ILoveMakonenn, to Jay Z and Solange's elevator fighting match. If you didn't feel like running through our #HOTNEW14 round up, then this song has you covered.
Uncle Murda Feat. Maino & Jay Watts
It looks like Uncle Murda isn’t slowing down anytime soon. Delivering his third song in as many weeks, Murda links up with Maino & Jay Watts for this new track called “Hands Up”. Following in the footsteps of many other artists (J. Cole, T.I., & Game to name a few), Murda & Maino take this opportunity to voice their opinion on what's happening in Ferguson, Missouri right now and its police injustice. The two Brooklyn rappers deliver heartfelt verses while Jay Watts handles the hook over the Reefa and 12 Keyz-produced instrumental.
