Ulterior Motives Sound Crew (UMSC) is a group comprised of seven artists, whom each are individually very passionate about what they do. The versitility of UMSC makes it easy for this group of artists to express themselves lyrically. Using any and everything to express their emotions and views, the music which is produced becomes that much more relevant and is accepted by a broad audiance. UMSC was created by CEO Brandon 'iDeezy' Lewis and Kareem '9OfHearts' Wright back in the winter months of '08. UMSC started out with two artists and a GFX designer. The next couple of months were spent making connects and recruiting; this wasn't made public to allow them to see how these individuals worked on their own, checking for both consistancy and dedication. During the summer of '09 UMSC was now almost completely built, with six artists, a GFX Designer, two Promoters, and one Producer; UMSC was ready to start grinding heavy. Once the recruiting was done they then took some additional time for 'artist development'. This time was used to both build up the artists individually (by finding their individual specifics such as genre), and as a team (by finding the specifics as a whole). As time went on, the members of UMSC became more and more of a family; their passion also evolved and was brought to a whole new plateau. After nearly three years we are now done the building stage, and are ready to move on. Today UMSC has: 7 Artists (6 Males & 1 Female), 1 Gfx Designer, 3 Promoters, And 2 Producers. The Year 2010 has been self-claimed by the UMSC family, and UMSC will Prove their worth. With already 4 mixtapes out this year, they prove to have the ability to work effectively and efficiently. CEO Brandon 'iDeezy' Lewis, Co-CEO Carlin 'iKon' Mclean and Executive EJ 'EJG' Grant; are 3 well driven individuals, motivated by passion, and most importantly each other.
