Tytanik (Tyson Turner), was born & raised in Montbello,Colorado; where he started writing lyrics at the age of 11. As a freshmen in high-school, he & childhood friends formed a group "Wild-Seed". In 2004, Tytanik recorded over 50 songs in 22 days & created 2 mix-tapes,“King of the Ring Vol.1" & “The Captain & The Coach". The 2005 birth of his daughter gave Tytanik the focus he needed to hone his craft. Along with friend Vell Vello, they formed the record label Self-Made Certified. In December 2006, Tytanik released mixtapes "Therez Nobody Lyke Me" which was largely produced by Tytanik & the Self-Made mixtape "Mile-High Sin City", which featured 14 songs by Tytanik. Through heavy promotion on Myspace & word of mouth, Tytanik won the "Rookie of the Year Award" at the Denver's Finest Colorado Music Awards. All of this led to him recording a joint mixtape,which was released in March 2007 with Innerstate Ike, titled "The Talk of the Turf"(Hosted by DJ.Ktone). Since May 2007, Tytanik has released 11 mixtapes featuring a plethra of Denver Colorado's Top Artist. Tytanik has collaborated with over 50 artist in Colorado alone. Due to numerous setbacks including a felony Drug Trafficking conviction & being evicted a few times, Tytanik has since linked up with Str8 Chek'n Records and preparing the release of his highly anticipated double album "Think Like A Man, Act Like A Turf Nigga" due out in May 2013.
