Watch Every Performance From The 2016 MTV VMAs
The 2016 VMAs are in the books. Rihanna, Beyonce, Future, Nicki Minaj, and a host of others took the stage at Madison Square Garden to rock the crowd with a series of blockbuster performances. Rihanna performed not once, but FOUR times as she accepted this year's prestigious Vanguard award. The other highlight was probably Beyonce's outstanding Lemonade medley.

5 Albums Inspired By Mixtapes
It's safe to say that the line between mixtapes and albums has never been blurrier, and as a result, more and more rappers and singers are releasing retail projects that continue tangents that began with free releases. With both French Monatana's MC4 and Juicy J's Rubba Band Business: The Album on the horizon, we're looking at a few of the tapes that have eventually gone on to inspire albums. Take a look through our gallery to see, and let us know what your favorite album or mixtape from the list is. Has this trend inspired good work from artists?
Kanye West Selects "Fade" As Next "The Life Of Pablo" Single
A recording of Kanye West's phone call with British DJ/radio personality Annie Mac just aired on BBC Radio 1. Before the live airing, the network had released a few of Kanye's choice quotes from the conversation, including those on his planned 2020 presidential run, wanting to design for IKEA, and the 2015 Glastonbury performance that left him in a "depressed state." In light of the revelatory interview, it was thought that Annie Mac's "Hottest Record" of the day might be a new premiere from Kanye West.
The Best Hip Hop Songs (On Spotify) Of July 2016
HNHH recently launched a Spotify playlist called FIRE EMOJI: The Hottest Hip Hop Songs Right Now. The playlist is updated on a daily basis. It lives on Spotify and thus is inherently imperfect, because not all super-hot hip hop songs have been added to Spotify. Still, the playlist is generally representative of the best new releases in hip hop.
Ty Dolla $ign Shares "Campaign" Tracklist
Ty Dolla $ign is just about finished with his latest project, Campaign, which will be the follow-up to his masterful debut, last year's Free TC. In the same post, he revealed that the album had just been sent off to be mastered.

I'm not going to take the time to crunch all of the numbers for the 28 weeks of 2016 we've experienced thus far, but in terms of artists who show up most often in our weekly top ten tracks list, it's not even close. Drake is the clear victor, seeming to find a way on here every week. Second place is a little more murky.
Ty Dolla $ign Debuts "No Justice" Featuring Big TC
Ty Dolla $ign is gearing up to release his next mixtape Campaign. We’ve already heard the title track “Campaign” featuring Future, a prototypical turn up jam. We now have the second premiere from the tape, in the form of three Instagram videos that run consecutively into one another. “No Justice” features Ty Dolla $ign’s big brother Big TC, and is far more sobering than the first single.
Ty Dolla $ign's "Campaign" To Feature Meek Mill, Travis Scott, Migos, Wiz Khalifa & More
Since releasing his excellent debut album, Free TC, in November of last year, Ty Dolla $ign has appeared on a number of features but hasn't yet given fans a project in 2016. Last month, however, Ty announced two upcoming mixtapes: Beach House 3 and Campaign. Earlier today, he premiered the title track of the latter project. "Campaign" is a heavy club anthem featuring Future that finds each of the melodic hitmen at his most ratchet.
The Best Hip Hop Songs (On Spotify) Of June 2016
ICYMI: HNHH recently launched a Spotify playlist called FIRE EMOJI: The Hottest Hip Hop Songs Right Now. The 40-track playlist is updated on a daily basis. It lives on Spotify and thus is inherently imperfect, because not all supa-hot hip hop songs have been added to Spotify (e.g. those recent ScHoolboy Q releases). Still, the playlist is generally representative of the best new releases in hip hop.
Ty Dolla $ign Announces New Project “Campaign”
Good news for Ty Dolla $ign fans, it appears Beach House 3 isn’t the only project we can expect to hear from the Taylor Gang crooner soon. Over the weekend at the BET Hip Hop Awards, Ty sat down with Hot 97’s Nessa and made a major announcement that he has another project that’s about to drop called Campaign. Ty says it will be the “soundtrack to the Summer of 2016” and contain 14 songs. “It’s a movie. Every single song, from number 1 to number 14.”

Summer officially began this past week, and with it came a whole bevy of huge tracks, most of the biggest ones being collabs. There's something decidedly warm weather about the low-stakes posse cut, and that's mainly what our list consists of this week. All but two of these ten tracks didn't appear on last week's Top Ten, with a bunch of stuff falling off in the past week.
Wiz Khalifa To Popcaan: "I Know You Gave Drake A Handjob For That Drop"
All in all, this year's Red Bull Culture Clash looked like a good time for everyone involved. On Friday night, four different crews, each with its own soundsystem, took turns on the stage in London's O2 Arena to see who could put on the hottest show and come through with the most exclusives.
Ty Dolla $ign Suggests "Beach House 3" Is On The Way
Ty Dolla $ign built his initial fanbase off the success of his Beach House series, releasing two mixtapes and one EP under the title. Last year, the L.A. singer delivered his debut album, Free TC, but being his prolific self, he's already begun work on another installment in the Beach House series.
The "Suicide Squad" Soundtrack Includes Lil Wayne, Wiz Khalifa, Kevin Gates & More
The star-studded upcoming film "Suicide Squad" is currently hogging much of this summer's box-office buzz. Based on the DC Comics team of antiheroes who take the same name, "Suicide Squad" will star Jared Leto, Will Smith, Cara Delevigne, Ben Affleck, and more. The film also happens to have quite the soundtrack, featuring number of hip-hop elites as well as some unexpected cross-genre collaborations.
Kid Cudi Denounces Homophobes, Shows Support For LGBT Community On Twitter
Like many others, Kid Cudi shared a few words about the mass shooting in Orlando over the weekend. While many celebrities chose to simply send "thoughts and prayers" to those affected, Cudi made sure to speak to the LGBT community. "I wish there was more I could do than tweet, build awareness and donate money. Thats not enough. Not for me," he wrote, before intructing any of his homophobic followers to unfollow him immediately. "IF YOU ARE AN INSECURE HOMOPHOBE AND HAVE A ISSUE WITH GAYS AND EQUALITY, UNFOLLOW ME NOW. THANK YOU," he said.
Vic Mensa's "There's Alot Going On" (Review)
It's pretty strange to think that Vic Mensa's new EP, There's Alot Going On, is his first project in three years. Since 2013, when he broke into public consciousness, first with an appearance on Chance The Rapper's "Cocoa Butter Kisses," then with his own Innanetape, Vic's status has continued to rise at a rate uncommon for a guy with one tape and a few loosies to his name.
10 Great Tracks Premiered On OVO Sound Radio
Premiering last July on Beats 1, OVO sound Radio has hosted many mixes, and many exclusive records have been premiered in the process. Just this weekend, three new records from Drake made their way out through the show, adding to large catalog of songs the 6 God has shared over the course of his Apple Music run. Of course, it's not only Drake, or even his stable of OVO artists who have shared new music on these mixes, and today we're going back through some of the premieres that impressed us, whether they made a huge impact or flew relatively under the radar.
Top Tracks: May 30 - June 5
Do you ever get the feeling that hip hop's current class of elites is more of a group of superfriends than ever before? Let's play six degrees of separation with this week's top ten tracks-- the most momentous batch in recent memory. At the top we've got DJ Khaled, who's collaborated with more of rap's A- B- and C-listers in his career than arguably anyone else, and who's accompanied by Drake.
