Summer's here, and festival season has arrived. Unfortunately, for hip-hop heads, most of the summer's premier music destinations are filled with laptop DJs or bands that introduced your parents to LSD 40 years ago. Luckily, for all of us on the East Coast, there's Summer Jam. Though it's just one day, the HOT 97-curated concert features over 10 hours of straight hip-hop in Giants' stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

    10) 50 Cent ft. Jeremih, 2 Chainz and T.I. – Get Low Like all of 50’s recent stabs at radio play, this single fell off fast. “Get Low” dropped eight spots from its first-week appearance at number two, landing at the bottom end of our top ten. 9) Jeezy ft. Rich Homie Quan – I Might

Another week, another fresh crop of songs raiding our Top Ten. Let’s get to it. 10) Omarion ft. DeJ Loaf, Trey Songz, Ty Dolla $ign and Rick Ross – Post To Be (Remix) This re-working of Omarion’s hit was smart enough to keep its most famous, meme-spawning line. And like that line, it’s hanging around for another week.

So far, the two singles we've heard from Ty Dolla $ign's upcoming debut album, Free TC, have both paired him with some new faces. On "Stand For," the uplifting lead track, he worked with DJ Dahi and venerated EDM mastermind Diplo, and on the more recent "Drop That Kitty," pop sensations Tinashe and Charli XCX were featured. Now comes time to drop another new track, and with this one, he's back to his old tricks with his old friends.

We've curated a great playlist for Hump Day. That means it's all r'n'b-ish music that should get you in the baby-making mood.

Today may not be a government-mandated holiday, but for those who advocate a green lifestyle, it's just as important as any other statutory holiday. Rap music has a special niche for all the weed smokers out there, however it's really transcended that niche genre and has become pretty common-place. Every other song has a reference (or three) about lighting up/rolling up/smoking up. It's safe to say we don't need a reason to smoke, but hey, we'll take one.
