With new projects from Future and Meek Mill -- and upcoming ones from Wiz Khalifa, Young Thug, and last but not least, Kanye West, the energy coming from the hip-hop world is out of control right now. New tracks off both 4/4 and Purple Reign crashed this week's Top 10, along with predictably dominating performances from both of Kanye's SWISH singles.

Another week, and the rap game ain't slowing down. TDE proved its youngest member is one of its most prized assets, Tyga finally dropped his mixtape, Mike Will seriously upped the expectations for Ransom 2, and a random Thugger leak managed to crack the Top 5. And that was before the weekend...
Behind The Beat: DJ Spinz
Atlanta has a rich history of rap, but in recent years it's become known for producing a large number of stars and hits through its very supportive, collaborative and creative music scene. While vocalists remain the face of music from the region, its success depends greatly on a network of producers and DJs, many of whom help in the process of finding and developing new talent, and ultimately breaking records and artists.

2016 is looking like it's gonna be a fast year. Yeezy decided to become the year's frontrunner after jumping over Jumpman on New Year's Eve, and somehow, he outdid himself the next week, dropping a two-in-one package that had one of the craziest debuts in HNHH history -- and continues to do huge numbers.

Kendrick Lamar Brings Out Big Sean & Ty Dolla $ign At TDE Holiday Concert
TDE hosted their second annual holiday concert yesterday at Nickerson Gardens, the Watts, CA housing projects where Jay Rock and TDE head honcho Anthony "Top Dog" Tiffith grew up. After giving away innumerable toys, the squad got together for a brief set, performing "Vice City" and their biggest individual hits before bringing out Big Sean for "Alright" & "Blessings" and then Ty Dolla $ign for "Blase." The overcast skies prevented TDE and its fans from enjoying some classic LA sunshine, it was an afternoon for the ages in South Central.

Charts Don't Lie: November 25th
After multiple weeks without any big chart debuts, we were starting to think it was a drought. Thankfully, last week saw some HUGE releases, with Justin Bieber, Logic, Jeezy, and Ty Dolla $ign all dropping their albums. Biebs unsurprisingly came out on top, beating out fellow pop superstars One Direction in what turned out to be less of a battle than expected (1D moved 460,000 units to Bieber's 649k). Nevertheless it was the first time two debuting albums had sold over 400k in one week since Kanye West and 50 Cent's infamous head-to-head in 2007.

Ranking The Features On Ty Dolla $ign's "Free TC"

Review: Ty Dolla $ign's "Free TC"
Something about the current configuration of the major label industry has proven particularly unfair for R&B auteurs. The-Dream has only managed to sputter out inconsistent EPs since his critically adored, commercially underperforming Love (Hate, Vs. Money, and King) trilogy. A similar outcome for Frank Ocean’s Channel Orange has seemingly forced its creator into hermitage.

10. Fetty Wap - Jimmy Choo It's been less than two months since Fetty Wap's debut self-titled album, which went No. 1, and he's already dropped a joint tape with French Montana and has another EP in the works. "Jimmy Choo," dedicated to the Malaysian fashion designer, would sound nicely on the upcoming release. It's softer than most of Fetty's radio anthems, as Zoovier channels the sound of his new life of luxury.
