Tony Jones, 24 years of age (6'7), was born in Petersburg, VA. Spending the younger years of his life traveling because his father was in the military, Tony developed an early ear for music watching his dad DJ at various clubs around the world. Tony Jones played basketball in High School and was even fortunate enough to pursue his basketball career in college but a critical incident changed his life forever. He had been rapping since he was 14 years old and after bouncing around a couple colleges, Tony Jones recorded "Can't Stop the Grind" and realized he could actually be successful at his first love, music. Tony Jones released his first project "Hater Motivation" in 2007 and the mixtape was a success. Some influences include Jay-Z, Young Jeezy, T.I, Drake, Lil Wayne, Kanye West, Ludacris, Eminem, Nas, Z-Ro, 2Pac, 50 cent, UGK, Outkast, Chamillionaire, Swishahouse, S.U.C, Nicki Minaj, Juelz Santana, Gucci Mane, Jody Breeze, Yo Gotti and The Game. Tony Jones listens to all types of music-anything from hip hop/rap and R&B to alternative. He currently resides on the northwest side of San Antonio, TX and is about to release his sophomore mixtape, "GRINDTIME Vol.1" in february 2010.
