Timbaland is a man in flux. Before he focuses all his attention on his Textbook Timbo album due out next month, he must finish the job he started when he dropped his mixtape King Stays King on Christmas day. He revisited the tape last week with a video for “Don’t Get No Betta” feat. Mila J, and he revisits it once more with a video for "Servin" feat. Blaze & Tweezie.

Timbaland Talks Producers, Drake, & More On Hot 97
Timbaland
While out in NYC recently, Timbaland made his way by the Hot 97 studios and chopped it up with gang from Ebro in The Morning sans Laura Styles. Sitting down for a lengthy 50-minute interview, the super-producer talked about everything from working with Missy Elliott & Aaliyah to his role on Empire, the culture, and more. He even says “there’s no more real producers anymore” and goes on to praise Drake heavily, calling him the “King.”

Timbaland
Timbaland has been in the game for a minute now, so when he shares his thoughts on the best rapper of all time, his opinion has some weight. The celebrated producer was the guest on ESPN's First Take today, and the question came up -- to which Timbo offered a pretty nuanced take. Tim started things off by saying "both of them are not here today," alluding to Biggie and Tupac, but things quickly got into a lively discussion  that involved Rakim, Jay Z and more.

Timbaland & V. Bozeman
At the beginning of August, producer Timbaland came together with singer V. Bozeman for "Smile." You may recognize V. Bozeman as one of the many "Empire" characters, a TV show which Timbaland also produces music for, so the collaboration definitely appears to be natural. The record radiates positive vibes, and is all about getting someone to smile, so it's hard to hate even if it's not Timbo's usual ammo.

Tink Interview With The Breakfast Club
Tink Interview With The Breakfast Club
Tink
At 19-years-old, there are huge expectations surrounding Tink, especially as Timbaland, her mentor, has said that Aaliyah (in a dream) told him she was "the one". With all that hype, the Chicago emcee boasts a cool demeanor and doesn't seem at all fazed by the pressure. Today, she stopped by the Breakfast Club to talk about her come-up and why she's gonna be around for a long time.

Nas
Nas made one of his most critically acclaimed albums yet with the release of Life Is Good, but the New York rapper has been pretty reclusive since then. Of course, the rumor that he'll eventually do an album exclusively with DJ Premier has been thrown around, but Nas himself has stated that his next album will not be the Primo record. The first taste of what Esco may have in store for us has now made its way online, with Timbaland sharing a snippet of a new song he produced for the rapper. We'll keep you update with any further updates on the album.

Timbaland
Timbaland visited The Breakfast Club near the end of 2014, during which he gave us a preview of new music he'd been working on with his Mosley Music Group signee Tink. The music was strong enough to get most of us hyped up, and even got the #ThinkTink hashtag trending. Timbo returned to The Breakfast Club today, and took the focus off Tink, this time discussing his own come-up as a producer, the artists he prefers to work with (unsurprisingly: Missy Elliott, Justin Timberlake), and much more.

Timbaland
Timbaland is the latest guest to visit The Breakfast Club on Power 105.1. Of course, the main topic of conversation was the Aaliyah movie that aired on Lifetime recently. If you've been on the internet lately you know that the movie did not go over well with fans and industry insiders alike. It encouraged a lot of memes, which Timbaland took part in as well. During the interview with Charlmagne Tha God, DJ Envy and Angela Yee, Timbo shared his thoughts on the movie and where it went wrong, and spoke about getting a message from the girl who played Aaliyah, Alexandra Shipp.

We're not sure exactly what the current status of Timbaland's long-awaited/delayed album Textbook Timbo, but today the producer gives us hope with a snippet from what sounds like it'll be a dope collaboration between Andre 3000 and Jhene Aiko Tink!  Timbo took to his Facebook page to upload a snippet of the record, teasing a portion of Three Stack's extremely identifiable vocals, segueing into Tink's part.
