Born in Boston, MA, Rook grew up in the entertainment business. At age 12 he landed a spot on a popular kids TV show in Boston and at age 17 he moved to NY, on his own, to pursue careers in the television and music industries. Since then he has performed across NYC and up and down the east coast. In 2010 he released his first mixtape entitled "The Boy Who Could Fly" available for free download via his website iAmRook.com. Since that release he has graduated from college while at the same time working on his second project "Mixed Ape" set to release soon.
