Fransha York (Born December 8) known as Sha, first became exposed to the entertainment business at age 14. Born & raised in a small town, Mt.Vernon, AL, the suburban area of Mobile, AL where only a few artist exist. As a young female I loved to venture into many different things. I idealized many things which lead me to listening to various artists whose music I enjoyed very much. I then began to ...envision myself on stage rapping my own lyrics. So, I started writing rhymes & rhythms to their beats. As I continued to write I began to embrace the beauty of the music/lyrics and the life of the rappers. As I grew older; however, I didn't write as much as I should have because my main focus at the time was my education. It wasn't until I graduated from John L. LeFlore Preparatory Academy High when I got back into the swing of writing music again and taking it to the next level. So one day before my birthday I freestyled to an instrumental, then recorded it and I sent it to everyone in my phone. They Loved It! That's when I realized I had talent. I said to myself, "I love music so why not go for it." That day was my rebirth, with that said I started frequenting the studio putting my ideals together to make a hit. I connected with a few people and now here I am; "Sha the Rapper"
