Rap game better beware, “teamELG” from Fort Wayne, IN This trio of veterans is willing and able to shake- up any main stream artists in the industry today. Not to be taken lightly. The three grew up in the same neighborhood and noticed the passion they shared for music therefore linked up to become TeamELG. teamELG refers to themselves as a Team rather than a group cause each member has their own unique role much like any typical sports team. TeamELG has 5 mix tapes and 5 albums among themselves and now working on their 6th mix tape “Epidemic”. They burned all the cds, made all the cd covers and paid for it all by themselves, also they went all over the city and sold them no matter what the weather was, cause they believed in themselves and knew it was going to pay off one day and sold thousands. During the summer time of 2011 they took a big risk and drive themselves to New York City so they could go and be on BET 106 & Park’s “Freestyle Friday” and they won three times in roll. With the success of the trip and networking with many people on the show a lot of door has been opening for them and now are working very hard to sign a record deal with a major record label and blow the world up with their talents.
