DUB DEE (THE DIJITAL DJ)
The Dijital DJ has been creating and mixing music since 12 years old with a karaoke machine and a boom box. He is the brains behind all of Dub Dee & Yung Ross’ recordings. “U Ain’t Hurd This Yet” is his exclusive line of Hip Hop and R&B mixtapes which boasts on having the newest hottest music at any given time. In 2002 the dynamic duo Dub Dee & Yung Ross met in Prairie View A&M University’s ESCI summer program. Instead of getting together and going over homework they would spend countless hours on the microphone gaining the respect of their peers. After the summer program Dub Dee remained at Prairie View, but Yung Ross went to pursue education at the University of Houston Downtown. In spite of the separation they continued to make quality music, collaborated with other artists, and opened for DJ Ebonix on 97.9 The Box. In 2004 Dub Dee released a solo "DA Legaci 2004" which has numerous appearances from Yung Ross. In 2005 Dub Dee & Yung Ross released “How to Get Signed” which was hailed as one of the best hip hop albums from an independent duo. Since then Dub & Ross have been on various mixtapes; most recently the Houston, Texas smash “Texan Wire Wheels: Got Swangas Mixtape”. In 2007 Dub & Ross changed the whole outlook on what a mixtape is with their 47-track “Consistency” mixed by The Dijital DJ. Since then Dub & Ross have released the sequel to, what may be one of the best mixtape series ever, “Consistency 2”. Dub Dee is working on a second solo project “Keep Livin” which will be a blend of hip hop and dance music.
