Rockie Fresh Songs

  • Thank You
    Thank You
We haven't heard from Rockie Fresh at all this year, but he's back in a big way with a new single, "Thank You," featuring his boss at MMG, Rick Ross. The new record is an inspirational account of one's rap dreams coming to fruition and sounds much like a continuance of what we heard on Black Dollar. The production is gorgeous and will surely raise your spirits seconds after hitting play.
  • Drugs In Me
    Drugs In Me
Sicko Mobb placed themselves at the forefront of the Chicago bop scene with the release of Super Saiyan Vol. 1, and it earned them a deal from Swedish pop super-producers, Stargate. While there are probably some blockbuster-level singles on the way, the duo haven't gone Hollywood on us just yet, sharing "Drugs In Me," which continues right where the mixtape left off.
  • Quality Time
    Quality Time
Skizzy Mars, a rising artist out of Manhattan is getting ready to drop a new project called The Red Balloon. While the effort goes up for pre-order as of tonight, Skizzy has shared an outtake from the album, linking up with MMG's Rockie Fresh for "Quality Time". Much like Rockie's material, Skizzy pulls from more electronic-leaning sounds for his production, and leans his raps into melody more often than not. The song is produced my Michael Keenan, and if the album is on the same level as this one, you can expect big things from Skizzy this year.
  • No Look
    No Look
Smoko Ono is a Chicago producer you're probably not too familiar with yet, although he once produced a dope collabo between two Chi-town staples Tris J and Sir Michael Rocks, which we featured, "Good Shit Talkin," and even if you didn't hear that, it's likely you heard his production on Vic Mensa's
  • I Need
    I Need
As of late, Rockie Fresh's music has been taking on a baroque character that somewhat resembles the Graduation-era work of another Chicago rapper. Following the lush, piano-led "Hesitate," Rockie's shared "I Need," a Peezy-produced track that makes use of similarly-styled strings.
  • Hesitate
Rockie Fresh decides to help our week move along with a new drop today, "Hesitate." The MMG rapper addresses haters and the industry politics on his new record. It's a relatively brief track, produced by Peezy & Cam, who build the cut around a 'wooh' vocal sample and piano keys. Rockie even rocks some auto-tune in the outro, as he promises he will get this shit (regardless).
  • No Secret
    No Secret
The other week Audio Push reached a monumental amount of Twitter followers (40k to be precise), and they celebrated with their growing fanbase by releasing a mellow ode to marijuana, "Mary Jane." The record came with the announcement that the Hit-Boy-signed crew would be dropping weekly releases going forward.
  • Official
Man, Rockie Fresh always gets the illest beats. He's worked with Lunice, THe Hood Internet, Boi-1da, MIDI Mafia, and of course, Hit-Boy, who provides the triumphant, horn-led production on "Official," a new freebie that Rockie shared on SoundCloud. In the same universe as Hit-Boy's beat for "Trophies," "Official" is a little slower and knottier than that Drake track, but that fits Rockie Fresh's delivery perfectly. His rapping feels off the cuff and unpredictable, switching up his flow on a dime and dropping ad-libs in over the hook.
  • We Run It
    We Run It
Production duo and mash-up artists The Hood Internet are back today with Rockie Fresh rapping over their beat on "We Run It." Last week we saw The Hood Internet x Tinashe on "One Step Over", and just like that cut this one is also a part of The Hood Internet's new EP Out of The Ordinary. The EP was commissioned by Dr Pepper for their One of A Kind Studio Sessions campaign.
  • Finals 2
    Finals 2
With a rematch of last year’s NBA Finals kicking off tonight, Rick Ross felt it was necessary to revisit a classic MMG song of theirs and re-“heat” it up. Before the 2011 NBA Finals, Rozay celebrated his hometown Miami Heat making the championship by releasing the track “Finals” featuring Meek Mill and Gunplay.
  • Live It Up
    Live It Up
Today OG Che$$ has enlisted MMG's Rockie Fresh for "Live It Up", with an interesting beat produced by Manny Davison mainly consisting of flutes. OG Che$$ is a Houston native on the rise who we haven't seen much of on HNHH, but it's looking like that'll change in the future as Che$$ continues to make his mark in the Houston scene and on the web. "Live It Up" is available for download. Are you digging the Houston x Chicago connection?
  • Fresh
"Fresh" is a choice selection from Fat Trel's new 15-track mixtape GLEESH, featuring his Maybach Music Group label mate Rockie Fresh on the assist.  The track is undeniably smooth, is it not? The last track we heard from Trel was "How You Feel" (produced by Harry Fraud), another standout cut from GLEESH. Before that was his unprecedented freestyle over Drake's "Too Much".
  • Signs of Chivalry
  • Been On (Remix)
    Been On (Remix)
G-Eazy's "Been On" gets the remix treatment, adding verses from Rockie Fresh and Tory Lanez. The two rappers sound great over the electronic-leaning, R&B-esque beat, which is familiar territory on both their parts. Look for more from G-Eazy in the near future. Quotable lyrics:
  • Fresh Circle
    Fresh Circle
Rockie Fresh and Casey Veggies nab Hit-Boy and his HS87 counterpart, Hazebanga, for hard-hitting and ominous production on their cut "Fresh Circle," which also features Hit-Boy on the hook. Cop Fresh Veggies now. Quotable Lyrics
  • All That
    All That
Rockie Fresh and Casey Veggies just came through with their joint effort Fresh Veggies. The tape has appearances from Taylor Gang's Juicy J and Ty Dolla $ign on "All That" where they name all the things they've got. All that. Quotable Lyrics
  • Aladdin
Rockie Fresh and Casey Veggies are gearing up to release FreshVeggies on December 16th, and after giving us "Sacrifice" the other week (which came with the wonderful Casey ad-lib "this shit sound like Christmas"), today they follow that up with a dope cut titled "Aladdin" featuring production from Uncle Dave.
  • Sacrifice
Rockie Fresh and Casey Veggies are connecting for a collaborative mixtape "Fresh Veggies" and before that drops, they give us a taste of what to expect with this new leak. "Fresh Veggies" drops on December 16th. Lol @ Casey, "This shit sound like Christmas."
  • My Story (Chicago Remix)
    My Story (Chicago Remix)
Give My Story (Chicago Remix) a listen - it's a new offering from R. Kelly, featuring Katie Got Bandz & Rockie Fresh. It was dropped on Monday, November 18th, 2013. R. Kelly's musical situation is improving with every new release, and My Story (Chicago Remix) will most definitely help the cause. It's a fine addition to the growing body of work R. Kelly has been developing since stepping foot in the game. We're looking forward to what R. Kelly has in store.
  • Headquarters Freestyle
    Headquarters Freestyle
Give Headquarters Freestyle (Prod. By Lunice) a spin - it's a new offering from Rockie Fresh. It was dropped on Friday, November 1st, 2013. Rockie Fresh's rap artistry continues to improve with every release, something which is most definitely evidenced on Headquarters Freestyle (Prod. By Lunice). His ever-expanding catalogue is definitely better for it, and we're looking forward to the next piece of the puzzle - aren't you?
