Rihanna is doing pretty well for herself, so it comes as a shock that the singer says she had hit a point where she was "effectively bankrupt" back in 2009.  RiRi is suing her former accountant, who she claims gave her some pretty suspect financial advice that year. Apparently, the adviser told her to go ahead and buy a 7-7.5 million dollar home, when she was not in the market for that type of purchase.

On Saturday, Jay-Z, in his annual tradition, celebrated the GRAMMYs a day early at what must be one of the most exciting brunches known to man. This year, Roc Nation artists have together tallied nine nominations, which would be no easy feat for labels other than the highly regarded Roc Nation.  From comedian Kevin Hart and the elegant Rihanna to T.I. and indie-songstress Grimes (not to mention a chipper-looking J. Cole) the brunch certainly seemed like the place to be last Saturday. However, while the atmosphere seemed celebratory, the GRAMMY awards still await us.

Eminem's newest collaboration with Rihanna was always expected to be huge, but this week it got a pretty surprising second wind. "The Monster" had a 123% sales increase in the last seven days, giving it the biggest sales week yet for the single, which officially dropped back in October. Apparently, the huge increase in sales can be attributed mainly to iTunes gift card purchases. The track wa spurchased a total of 433,000 times, an impressive gain on it's first and biggest sales week, which only managed to move 373,000 units.

It was back in September when Teyana Taylor and Rihanna had an all-out Twitter war, which involved both parties changing their Twitter AVI and banners to reflect the beef (see screenshots in the gallery above), not to mention getting backed by their respective fan bases. While it seems like awhile ago, apparently the effects of it are still being felt, at least for Teyana, as the G.O.O.D singer was recently dropped from adidas reportedly because of the beef.

The two teamed up on "Love The Way You Lie" back in 2010, which went on to become Eminem's best selling single, moving six million units in the U.S. alone. Em and RiRi's latest offering isn't doing too bad for itself either, hitting the platinum mark this week.
