PartyNextDoor On Kehlani: "I Regret How It Went Down"
PartyNextDoor released P3 at the end of last week, with the album stream quickly toppling over 70,000 views on our site alone. We don't yet know what kind of damage it'll do on the charts, but the hype surrounding the OVO-signed singer is definitely coming to a head. With the album doing it's thing, Rolling Stone caught up with PND for a quick interview on the ups and downs (more downs, it sounds like) of his past year. This includes everything from a short-lived relationship with Kehlani to writing RiRi's biggest ANTI hit.

Every year at the VMAs, MTV hands out its Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award to one deserving recipient. This year, they'll give the honor to Rihanna for “decade-long impact on music, pop culture, fashion, film, and philanthropy." “Honored to take the #VMAs stage as your video #VANGUARD award recipient LIVE from NYC on August 28!” Rihanna tweeted.
Take A Tour Of Rihanna's Massive $14.5M LA Mansion
Rihanna is looking to move out of her massive 10,929 sq ft. Los Angeles mansion, and she has recently dropped the asking price to a mere $14.5 million. The Pacific Palisades pad was constructed in 2009 and it looks exactly like what you'd expect from one of the biggest celebrities on the planet. The sprawling estate includes seven bedrooms, nine bathrooms, 14 foot ceilings, and a washer/dryer! This shit really looks like something out of a hotel resort brochure or The Great Gatsby.
Charts Don't Lie: August 10
DJ Khaled has plenty of reason to celebrate this week. Khaled earned his first #1 debut with his ninth studio album Major Key-- obviously all that Snapchatting paid off. The record rides high on collaborations with everyone from Jay Z to YG, Kendrick Lamar to Future, although Khaled probably has more than enough star power by himself at this point. Drake follows right behind him with VIEWS, a record that has spent most of the summer at #1.
Rihanna Among All-Female Cast For "Ocean's Eight" Movie
The "Ocean's Eleven" series is getting a facelift and a comeback. The franchise was already revived once in 2001 (with the original "Ocean's Eleven" debuting in the 1960s), and went on to get a total of three films to its name. The third and final film, "Ocean's Thirteen" was released in 2007. Each film had George Clooney and Brad Pitt as the leads, but this time around, Warner Bros. is taking the series in a different direction and enlisting an all-female cast.

Watch Rihanna Join Drake For "Too Good" & "Work" At OVO Fest
In its third night tonight, after a weekend that included shows from Wiz Khalifa and Snoop Dogg as well as a Caribana party hosted by soca legend Machel Montano, OVO Fest was finally ready to clear the stage for the man behind it all. The festival collides with the Summer Sixteen tour for its final two nights, and it was expected that Drake and Future would kick off night 1 in style, with a few surprises likely in store.
Charts Don't Lie: July 27
Drake is once again at the #1 spot with his fourth studio album VIEWS. The record continues to thrive, and although "Once Dance" was bumped from the #1 spot, he doesn't seem to show any signs of slowing down soon. Rihanna, Beyonce, and ScHoolboy Q all join Drizzy in the top 10 of Billboard's 200 chart, marking a solid showing for R&B and hip hop on the charts this week.

The fifth annual Global Citizen Festival takes place on September 24th on New York's famed Great Lawn at Central Park. Rihanna and Kendrick Lamar are among top billed, performing alongside Major Lazer, Selena Gomez, Metallica, Usher, Ellie Goulding and more. You can check out the full list of performers in the flyer above.
Rihanna Lands Iconic Role Of Marion Crane In "Bates Motel"
There are few characters in film history as iconic as Marion Crane, the female lead in Alfred Hitchcock's 1960 masterpiece, Psycho. Because Janet Leigh's original performance is so beloved, casting the role for the final season of Bates Motel, the prequel series based on the film, was surely a taxing process, and today they've announced Leigh's successor to be one of the biggest celebrities in the world, though in music not film.
Charts Don't Lie: July 20
It's a pretty good week for rap artists on the Billboard charts. Drake was able to reclaim the #1 spot on the Billboard 200 from previous owners Blink-182, and ScHoolboy Q managed to fend off the pop-punk band as well, nabbing a very respectable #2 debut with his new album Blank Face LP. Rihanna and Beyonce's respective albums continue to thrive in the top 10, while Bryson Tiller, Kevin Gates and Maxwell find spots in the top 20.
A Collection Of "Camo" Rihanna x PUMA Creepers Are Releasing Next Week

The newest additions to the Rihanna x PUMA Creeper lineup include olive, orange, blue and red camo atop the familiar silhouette of the platform-styled sneaker. PUMA has yet to release official images of the "Camo" Creepers but some pairs have already been shipped out to celebs like Winnie Harlow, who recently posted the kicks on her IG.

Charts Don't Lie: July 6
Almost every release listed below actually moved up on Billboard 200 this past week, an impressive statistic that bodes well for the likes of Bryson Tiller and Kanye West, who both jumped up at least 15 spots over the 4th of July weekend. Without any new releases in the top spots, the list looks pretty familiar, but there were a few new records in some of the chart's higher spots. Peach Panther by RiFF RaFF debuts at #69, DJ Shadow's new LP is at #77, and Blood Orange comes in at #185, in terms of R&B and hip hop-related releases. ...

The Best Hip Hop Songs (On Spotify) Of June 2016
ICYMI: HNHH recently launched a Spotify playlist called FIRE EMOJI: The Hottest Hip Hop Songs Right Now. The 40-track playlist is updated on a daily basis. It lives on Spotify and thus is inherently imperfect, because not all supa-hot hip hop songs have been added to Spotify (e.g. those recent ScHoolboy Q releases). Still, the playlist is generally representative of the best new releases in hip hop.
