From an early age Cody ( Rightsyde ) was addicted to music, but it wasn't till the age of 5, when his uncle ( Phillip Wooldridge R.I.P ) bought him a record player with two 12 inch vinyl's. The first 12 inch was the sugar hill gang's " Rapper's Delight ", and the second being biz markie's " just a friend ". Cody had officially fallen in love with hip hop, and his uncle continued to buy him viny'ls and eventually cassette tapes. By the age of 8, Cody had become a full fledged hip Hop addict, constantly listening any hip hop he could get his hands on, and being the era it was and the area he was growing up in ( northside of Forrt Worth, Texas ) Gangsta rap took ahold to the fullest extent. cody's favorite rapper's at the time were the Geto Boys, UGK, Ice Cube, Tupac, Biggie, Snoop Dogg, Coolio, Luniz, Eazy E, and Bone Thugs n Harmony. As time went on Cody's indulgence continued as he dug deeper into the dirty south genre of hip hop, he felt he could relate and to this day idolizes the likes of DJ screw, Geto Boys, UGK, S.U.C, and many more. As Cody hit high school he dug more into the underground and always being one who loved horror movies and just the darkside in general he began listening to horrorcore and murder rap such as brotha lynch hung doomsday productions the flatlinerz gangxsta nip and the more popular psychopathic records, he also began writing and flowing his songs to his friends. who encouraged him to take it to the next level, which is exactly what he did. In late 2008 Cody began recording with the Southland King's on MadBiz Productions. After making a significant impact in the local scene, and doing 15 shows in a year, the group took a break. They added a new member and wrote half of a new album when unfortunately due differences in the direction of the group, they split up in mid 2010. Cody had already begun recording solo tracks, and decided to go solo for the time being, since then he has had success in the local scene, opening for acts such as Big Tuck, Chip The Ripper, and Insane Poetry. He has also worked with local acts such as Saint Ryan, Grimm The Criminal, W.A.R., GLOAT ENT. and the infamous FAT KIDZ INC. and recently in 2011 was invited to join Fat Kidz Inc.'s Record Label, and Accepted, though soon dropped from the label ( no hard feelings ) and began GRIND SYNDICATE MUSIC GROUP, AND JOINED A LONG TIME FRIEND OF HIS ( EVUL DED)'S record label " CEMETARY RECORDS " AFTER A MUCH NEEDED CREATIVE HIATUS is about to hit the studio and start work on his mixtape and album.. the rest is yet to come but some big things are brewin' in the Texas Underground...
