Rick Ross was able to pull off releasing two studio albums in one calendar year in 2014, partially because the year was something of a drought for major label releases, and partially because he's a safe bet for consistent album sales. Hood Billionaire was more of what we've come to expect from Ross at this point in his career, with an emphasis on the shout-along street records he's been doing since "BMF" hit so damn hard.

French Montana is still yet to release his sophomore album, Mac & Cheese, and after a couple ditched singles (including "Don't Panic), he's finally released the long-rumored "Gucci Mane," which is now titled "Lose It". As previously reported, the hook uses Gucci as a synonym for going crazy... as delivered by a slurring Rozay.

Along with Waka Flocka Flame's "Hard In The Paint," Rick Ross' "B.M.F." introduced Lex Luger as an innovator in rap, crafting an abrasive new sound that is still very much the template for much of what's coming out today. Rozay has been working within that lane for years now, but as Lex retreated under the radar, he worked with many other producers to a similar effect. With his latest release, "Dog Food," he's going back to the source, as Luger turns in a beat that sounds like it could've come straight out of his 2010 run.

Revisiting last year’s Hood Billionaire album, Ricky Rozay decides to come through today and share the official video for track #15 “Family Ties”. Directed by Ryan Snyder, watch as Rozay heads out to Milan, Italy to deliver this slow-moving, elegantly shot lifestyle video above. Nothing we haven’t seen before from the MMG camp, but definitely worth your time. Check it out.

Rick Ross Feat. Future "Neighborhood Drug Dealer (Remix)" Video
After Gunplay debuted his music video for his "John Gotti" freestyle yesterday, MMG's boss (currently dealing with charges of kidnapping and assault, among others), rolls out his music video for the remix of "Neighborhood Drug Dealer" with Future. As per with any MMG music video, you get a good 30 seconds of ads before the visual actually starts. After that, Rozay takes us to the streets where we see the work being whipped and the money being counted.

Soulja Boy channels Rick Ross in his new song, named after the MMG bawse. From Belaire bottles to stacks of cash to representing Maybach Music Group, Soulja does it all in his song "Rick Ross." He even goes so far as to say, "I signed Meek Mill, I signed Omarion." Some days you just feel like you signed Meek Mill and Omarion, amirite?

Trae Tha Truth Feat. Rick Ross "I Don't Give A Fuck" Video
Trae Tha Truth continues the grind as he preps his upcoming album, Tha Truth. The rapper debuted the audio for this new single, "I Don't Give A Fuck" featuring MMG bawse Ricky Rozay last week, and he kicks off the new week with the official music video for the collaboration. The Jae the Giant-produced record received a user (and editor) rating of HOTTTTT, so let us know if the added visuals give the song a boost.

Ariana Grande Does An Impression Of Rick Ross Dancing
We never would've guessed it, but it turns out that Ariana Grande's spent a long time studying the way Rick Ross dances. In a new Instagram video, the pop singer/songwriter offers up an on-the-nose impression of the MMG bawse's distinctive moves. She captioned it "me impersonating @rickyrozay #youhavenoideahowaccuratethisis" (followed by a bunch of monkey-covering-its-eyes and crying face emojis).

  • YOWDA Feat. Riff Raff "WTIWP" Video
YOWDA Feat. Riff Raff "WTIWP" Video
The last time we heard from Maybach Music Group signee Yowda, he paired up with Memphis Bleek for the hard-hitting track "Dope Man" in March. Today, he returns with a new video, with the Neon Icon himself (Riff Raff) in tow. Watch the "WTIWP" (Wish That I Was Playing) visuals above.
  • Red Cafe Feat. Rick Ross, Jeremih "Making Me Proud" Video
Red Cafe Feat. Rick Ross, Jeremih "Making Me Proud" Video
The first music you hear in Red Cafe, Rick Ross and Jeremih's new video for their track "Making Me Proud" isn't the song itself: it's the James Bond theme. We see Red Cafe in a getaway scene, riding a raft away from the shore and out to his yacht before the video actually kicks off.  As night falls, a boat party for the ages begins. The three dudes get accompanied by a gaggle of attractive women, and promptly break out the gold bottles to celebrate in style. Meek Mill and Yo Gotti show up for cameos, capping off a very lavish, successful video.
  • Rick Ross Feat. Snoop Dogg "Quintessential" Video
Rick Ross Feat. Snoop Dogg "Quintessential" Video
Rick Ross just dropped off the massive "Dog Food" with Lex Luger, but the bawse is back to remind us of his prolific two-album 2014, releasing another video off Hood Billionaire. The "Quintessential" video starts with Ross in a Vegas pawn shop, the official "Pawn Stars" shop in fact, trying to make back some cash after a "rough night at the casino." He ends up giving over a woman he's with for $3,500.

The Album About Nothing dropped today, and to coincide with the release, Wale just released the latest episode of his vlog series with Jerry Seinfeld. Each episode takes its name and premise from a Seinfeld episode, and after "The Matrimony" and "The White Shoes", the latest episode is titled "The Phone Call".
  • Meek Mill "Ice Cream Freestyle" (Street Video)
Meek Mill "Ice Cream Freestyle" (Street Video)
In January, Meek Mill put out a freestyle over the famous "Ice Cream" beat, which first appeared on Raekwon's seminal Only Built 4 Cuban Linx... Meek is far from the first artist to try his hand at the RZA beat, but he certainly paid his respect with some menacing bars.
  • Rick Ross "Movin Bass" Video
    Rick Ross "Movin Bass" Video
Although the final version of "Movin' Bass" was a disappointment to most fans, especially after Timbaland leaked the version that featured Tink, Rick Ross is still pushing it with an official music video. No Jay Z in the official music video, but, Rozay takes it to Hov's territory, traveling around a wintry NYC in a white Maybach.
  • Rick Ross Explains Why He Signed Meek Mill & Wale To MMG
Rick Ross Explains Why He Signed Meek Mill & Wale To MMG
Led by Rick Ross, Maybach Music Group has a pretty eclectic lineup, with Rozay signing both street rappers that are on the same page as him and less gangster-minded MCs. We've seen the two poles of MMG, Meek Mill and Wale, clash a little bit over the past year (remember #UNOTMMG?), but for the most part, the label has remained harmonious despite its varied character.

Troy Ave Feat. Rick Ross "All About The Money (Remix)" Video
Troy Ave's jiggy reboot "Your Style" got plenty of spin in New York, but the more street ready, "All Bout The Money" (borrowed from fellow NY rapper Manolo Rose) has proven to be an even bigger success for Mr. Avenue. Much like "Your Style", the record has earned itself a remix with some notable features, nabbing former rivals Jeezy and Rick Ross for the occasion. Only Ross makes his way into the official video, which premiered today. Fortunately DJ Khaled makes up for his absence, bringing some assured dance moves out for the record. Red Cafe also guests.

Bleu DaVinci Feat. Rick Ross "Rich Nigga Walk Thru" Video
Bleu DaVinci is part of the Black Mafia Family and seems to have some sort of affiliation with MMG. He released "Rich Nigga Walk Thru," featuring Rick Ross, last September, which is still the only song we've heard off his upcoming Gangsta Grillz mixtape Angels & Demon, which is now officially set to be released on February 27th.

New England Patriots Owner Joins Rick Ross Onstage For "Ima Boss"
With his team having won four Super Bowl titles in the last 15 years, New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft must have been feeling like a boss last night when his team vanquished the Seahawks in Phoenix, Arizona. After the game, he was called upon by another man who's been known to throw around the term "boss" (bawse), Rick Ross, to come onstage for a performance of Ross and Meek Mill's track "Ima Boss."
