Rich Homie Quan was dismissed by many as a one-hit wonder early on, but with three radio hits this year alone (that's two more than Future, who he's often been compared to) he's solidified himself as a force to be reckoned with. Most recently, we've heard him team up with fellow ATL newcomer Young Thug on the Rich Gang single, "Lifestyle".

Rich Homie Quan generally seems like a pretty reasonable dude, but some inappropriate fan behavior definitely had him feeling some type of way at his show in Wisconsin last night. While performing a song, Quan put his hand out to the crowd, giving some love to the fans. One spectator in particular took the gesture a little too far however, as he attempted to grab Quan's hand and pull himself on stage, almost pulling the rapper into the crowd in the process.

Thing really aligned for Young Thug in 2014. The experimental emcee gradually gained hype and acclaim throughout 2013 on the strength of his 1017 Thug mixtape, but his singles, "Stoner" and "Danny Glover" really picked up steam in the new year, earning club-appreciation from both Drake and Kanye West. It looks like the hype has reached a point where Thugger is ready to ink a deal, and as announced in an interview with DJ Drama last night, the rapper will be signing with Future's Freebandz imprint.

Atlanta, Georgia. The city bursting with waffle houses and strip clubs also happens to be one of today’s hip-hop capitals. Trap music has skyrocketed over the past couple years, ATL being its home. Twenty years ago, however, there was a much different picture in the A. The Dirty South was simply trying to garner recognition while the East and West Coasts shared a stranglehold on the rap scene. Crazy how times change.
