If you're a loyal Wu-Tang fan, you'll know that "The Purple Tape" is the nickname of Raekwon's classic debut Only Built 4 Cuban Linx, which was distributed on an iconic purple cassette. It's also the title of a track on Method Man's most recent LP The Meth Lab, and conjures up the classic Wu sound from the LP, enlisting the help of both Raekwon himself and the Clan's most underrated member Inspectah Deck.

Raekwon Reacts To "Divorce Court" Wu-Tang Allegations
During an interview with MTV News' Rob Markman, Raekwon responded to a recent episode of "Divorce Court" in which the plaintiff accused his girlfriend of sleeping with the entire Wu-Tang Clan. When asked if he recognized her, Raekwon jokingly responded, "You know that was the first thing, I was like, 'do I know that mouth or something?'" The verdict? "Nah, I don't remember her."

The Chef took to the stage yesterday along with his compadre Ghostface Killah at sunny Coachella yesterday to perform the Only Built 4 Cuban Linx. The album dropped twenty years ago and this performance reminds us what made it such at timeless classic. Raekwon clearly has not lost his touch, which bodes well for his upcoming album F.I.L.A., set to drop April 28th.

RZA Responds To Raekwon On HOT 97 Morning Show
RZA and Raekwon are known to have had their differences in terms of the creative direction of the Wu Tang clan, but thing seem to be accelerating now. Rae has said in an interview that there is a good chance he won't show up on the group's upcoming album, for which he holds RZA responsible. RZA has now responded to RAe's comments, describing the rapper's opposition as simply a rift between brothers. He says that the two do not see eye to eye partly because they don't directly communicate as often.
