Drake Seems To Diss Kid Cudi & Pusha T On "Two Birds, One Stone;" Twitter Reacts
Drake celebrated the eve of his 30th birthday by dropping four new songs on OVO Sound Radio, but only one of them caused debate on social media. Within minutes of Drake debuting the track "2 Birds, One Stone," Twitter was full of opinions about the Toronto rapper's perceived disses of Kid Cudi and Pusha T.
Who Are Your Favorite Rappers Voting For?
Tonight marks the third and final presidential debate before the election on November 8th. Ever since the first one, which took place on September 26th, Donald Trump has taken a huge nose-dive in the polls, but as we've seen in races past, anything can happen in the final weeks.
Desiigner Speaks On Blues Influence
Desiigner's viral "Timmy Turner" XXL freshman freestyle was described by some as a "trap spiritual." This characterization makes sense in light of a his new interview with Pusha T for Interview Magazine, in which he reveals that his biggest influence is his grandfather, who was a bluesman.

Last week gave us Gucci Mane's second album of the year, Woptober, The Game's 1992, and Anderson .Paak and Knxwledge (aka NxWorries)' Yes Lawd!, and we've still got projects from D.R.A.M., Joe Budden, Common, and Jeezy dropping soon, but it feels like it's been a while since any major releases have arrived.
Pusha T Stumps For Tim Kaine In Miami
Pusha T put out two new songs this week, but it seems that his heart is more preoccupied with the presidential election at the moment. After teaming up with Hillary Clinton for a voter registration drive earlier this month, he campaigned on behalf of Democratic vice presidential nominee Tim Kaine at an event in Miami on Saturday.
Why Hip Hop Suddenly Loves Heavy Metal
Last year, Florida rapper Robb Banks posted artwork from a black metal album, Leviathan's Verräter, on his Instagram.
The Best Hip Hop Songs (On Spotify) Of September 2016
Earlier this year, HNHH launched a Spotify playlist called FIRE EMOJI: The Hottest Hip Hop Songs Right Now. The playlist is updated on a daily basis. It lives on Spotify and thus is inherently imperfect, because not all super-hot hip hop songs have been added to Spotify. Still, the playlist is generally representative of the best new releases in hip hop and R&B.

Abel Tesfaye, AKA The Weeknd, has had one of the most unexpected career paths of any R&B artist in the new millennium. Basically paving the way for every ensuing singer/rapper who's warranted the "mysterious" tag when first emerging, his early tracks paired The-Dream's Lothario musings with an indie-influenced, lo-fi sound, and druggy themes. After major label move Kiss Land flopped commercially and critically, he went back to the drawing board and returned with a pop sheen courtesy of superproducer Max Martin.

Stream "Birth of a Nation" Album, Featuring Nas, Gucci Mane, Lil Wayne, Pusha T, & More
"Birth of a Nation," the upcoming Nat Turner biopic, has faced no shortage of controversy and calls to boycott due to a rape scandal surrounding the film's star, director, and writer Nate Parker. Perhaps less controversial than the film is its accompanying album, The Birth of a Nation: The Inspired By Album. 16 tracks in length, it features appearances from Pusha T, Meek Mill, 2 Chainz, Lil Wayne, Nas, Gucci Mane, Killer Mike, Ne-Yo, Wale, The Game, Anthony Hamilton, LeCrae, Vic Mensa, Trey Songz, and many more.

If you register to vote on Clinton's site, you will automatically be entered to a contest to meet Pusha T backstage at one of his shows. Airfare is paid for the winner and a friend. After performing two consecutive nights at Madison Square Garden, Kanye is premiering his Yeezy Season 4 in New York today, but he's still got at least one more event planned. Later tonight, Pusha T has revealed that Kanye's label, GOOD Music, will be putting on a pop-up show at the Highline Ballroom. While Kanye is not on the bill, Travis Scott, Migos, Desiigner, Pusha T, Tyga, and more are scheduled to perform, and while it hasn't been confirmed, it seems likely that Ye could also make an appearance. Pusha T Unveils New Anti-Trump, Pro-Hillary T-Shirt
For obvious reasons, much of the rap game has rallied against the GOP presidential nominee Donald J. Trump. Fewer have been vocal of their support of his opponent, Hillary Clinton, but Pusha T is looking to change that with the latest T-shirt he has put out via his Play Cloths clothing line. "Delete Your Account," reads the new anti-Trump, pro-Hillary T-shirt, showing a bobbling Twitter icon with an "X" in its left-hand corner.

Pusha T Hypes Desiigner's Imminent "Timmy Turner" Single With New Artwork
With the overwhelming success of "Panda," its safe to say that GOOD Music president Pusha T knows how to work a single. While Desiigner's New English mixtape didn't make quite as big a splash as his smash debut, it seems "Timmy Turner," a song birthed from a popular XXL Freshman Freestyle, might be the worthy successor to "Panda".

I'm not going to take the time to crunch all of the numbers for the 28 weeks of 2016 we've experienced thus far, but in terms of artists who show up most often in our weekly top ten tracks list, it's not even close. Drake is the clear victor, seeming to find a way on here every week. Second place is a little more murky.
The Best Hip Hop Songs (On Spotify) Of June 2016
ICYMI: HNHH recently launched a Spotify playlist called FIRE EMOJI: The Hottest Hip Hop Songs Right Now. The 40-track playlist is updated on a daily basis. It lives on Spotify and thus is inherently imperfect, because not all supa-hot hip hop songs have been added to Spotify (e.g. those recent ScHoolboy Q releases). Still, the playlist is generally representative of the best new releases in hip hop.
Review: Desiigner's "New English"
If you, like me, weren't one of the couple thousand people who had pressed play on the Soundcloud link Desiigner's "Panda" by the time you sat down to watch Kanye West's Life Of Pablo livestream this February, you were most likely among the millions who first assumed that the teenaged, "Broads in Atlanta"-touting Brooklyn rapper was actually Future. That's a pretty huge hole from which to exhume yourself just as you're getting started with your career, but Desiigner did it. With that one record out in the world, he signed with G.O.O.D.
Top Tracks: June 20 - June 26
Summer officially began this past week, and with it came a whole bevy of huge tracks, most of the biggest ones being collabs. There's something decidedly warm weather about the low-stakes posse cut, and that's mainly what our list consists of this week. All but two of these ten tracks didn't appear on last week's Top Ten, with a bunch of stuff falling off in the past week.
