The 10 Best Diss Tracks Of The 2010s
Of the many things that old heads will insist "were better back in the day," diss tracks are among the few that most younger rap fans can also agree upon. Even if you didn't live through them, the 2Pac / Biggie, Eazy-E / Dr. Dre and Jay Z / Nas beefs all produced shot-firing tracks that still loom large today-- Notorious' "Who Shot Ya" is still referenced by rappers all of the time, and Nas' "Ether" is now so baked into the foundation of rap that its title is now synonymous with a devastating diss.
Pusha T Plans To Release New Music By The End Of The Summer
With two tentative King Push release dates (Spring 2015, then June 30) coming and going without any new music. Pusha T has us all holding our breath in anticipation of his new project. While he hasn't spoken on the upcoming album in quite some time, he did drop off a hint about new music during a recent interview with Revolt TV.
Who Had The Better Verse: Chris Brown Vs. Tyga ("Fan Of A Fan 2" Edition)
It’s always a joyous occasion when Chris Brown and Tyga link up. The two party boys aren't here to strain your mind necessarily, rather, they're here to ensure you have a good time with easy-listening, pop-leaning music. When they first teamed up back in 2010 with their mixtape Fan of a Fan, we were unsure what to expect. After managing to deliver a strong project laced with infectious party starters, the two friends decided to re-up for their sophomore endeavor Fan of a Fan 2.

Pusha T Blasts Virginia Sports Lounge For Racist Practices
Pusha T had a pretty awful night in his hometown of Virginia yesterday, as he unloaded a series of Tweets calling out a local business for racist practices. The GOOD Music rapper accused Venue 112-- a sports lounge in the area --for using a fake guest list to discourage black patrons from entering the space, calling it the "most racist establishment in the 757".
10 Essential RL Grime Tracks
For the better part of the past three years, "trap" has referred to much more than the music of Young Jeezy, T.I., Gucci Mane, etc. Beats like Baauer's "Harlem Shake" and RL Grime's remix to Kanye West's "Mercy" have ignited dance-floors and festivals using the same label to describe their sound.
Pusha T Responds To Leaked Track, Calls "King Push" A "Masterpiece"
The last few weeks has seen an irregularly large number of rap leaks, with artists like Drake, Young Thug, and Rich Homie Quan finding (often early demos of) their songs made public without their permission. Recently, a Pusha T snippet titled "All American" made the rounds, and while it was being passed off as a song from the rapper's upcoming sophomore effort, King Push, Pusha has decided to dead the rumors at the source-- the KanyeToThe forums.

Possible Release Date For Pusha T's "King Push" Revealed
Although we recently heard Pusha T on Major Lazer's "Night Riders" and saw him cut his braids off, new solo music from the Virginia Beach rapper still hasn't happened since My Name Is My Name. In December, he told us that his hotly-anticipated follow-up, King Push, would be arriving in Spring 2015, and now we've got a clue that may point to a more specific date.
Pusha T Cuts Off His Signature Braids
It appears Pusha T has done the unthinkable. After years of harassment, the former Clipse member decided to finally cut off his signature braids. Taking to his IG earlier Monday, Pusha T posted a photo of himself receiving a $2500 dollar facial in Hong Kong with the caption “Just cut my braids off”. Unfortuantely, we don’t get to see the new look, but we’re dying to that’s for sure.
140 Bars Or Less: Tweets Of The Week (April 25 - May 1)
We seem to be hitting somewhat of a lull in the album release cycle, with some big drops coming in June and July (Lil Durk, Migos, Frank Ocean), but no huge ones coming in this week or the next (unless we actually do get Chance The Rapper's Donnie Trumpet & The Social Experiment's SURF). Many of this week's happenings centered on the events surrounding Freddie Gray's funeral and the ensuing protests in Baltimore and NYC, and elsewhere we had basketball playoffs, relationship drama and more.

The Yeezus Blessing: A History Of Kanye West's Co-Signs
You may not agree with everything Kanye West says--in fact, it would be worrisome if you did--but you can't deny his omnipotence as a tastemaker. If Kanye says it's hot, it's hot. Many of today's household names were once unknowns, and thanks to Yeezy, we can now enjoy their them in their full spotlight. The Grammy's prime nemesis has won more Awards than anyone his age--21 total. He's released seven albums, none of them less-than-great, and that doesn't even touch on the classic records he's produced, including his own.
Pusha T & Consequence End Beef To Work On Kanye West's New Album
The other day we saw a picture of King Louie and Kanye West posted up in the studio, after King L received that coveted invite to go work on Ye's new album at his home in Hollywood. Of course you'd expect some of the G.O.O.D. family to also receive those invites, including former beefing partners Pusha T and Cons.

Pusha T, Young Thug, YG Among 30 Rappers Recruited For "Rap Monument" Track
Crew tracks are commonplace in rap today, but unless we're going back to The Game's legendary "One Blood" remix, they rarely feature more than 5 or 6 rappers. A new project put together by Noisey and Hennessey plans to raise the bar for posse cuts, featuring 30 different rappers recorded in 3 different cities (Game's track had 23 rappers by the way. We had to count).
