PUSH BUTTINZ, aka Sabir Shahid, was born into a family of musical talent in the city of Newark, NJ. His mother loved to sing and three of his uncles were talented artists at mixing and scratching. Thus, it was destined that, he too would develop a unique itch for music. PUSH BUTTINZ, a true product of the Hip Hop community, managed to cover all four bases in Hip Hop (Break Dancing, Emceeing, Graffiti and Dee Jaying) by the age of 13. With time his attributes combined to form one of the world's most well rounded, multi-talented artist. After becoming fed up with relying on others for beats and studio time, he began doing production for himself. Working with only a Casio SK-5 sampler, Yamaha drum machine, and a four track recorder, he was able to generate enough noise to grab the ears of Newark Legends such as: Do It All (Lords of The Underground), Gov Mattic (Diezzel Don & Tha Governer) and Big Seven (Hard We’re) to name a few. Although never recording with him at that time, they kept close watch of his growth and development. PUSH BUTTINZ currently runs his own recording studio (M.O. Sound Lab) and independent musical power house “M.O. Sound Group”. He is now the most sought-after producer/engineer in the city of Newark, NJ. Throughout his career he's held such titles as “Em Cee”, “Producer”, “Engineer” and “CEO” which led to him earning the name “Dr. Push Buttinz”. To classify PUSH BUTTINZ style of music is virtually impossible. All we can say is that he is a breath of fresh air, during a time of industrial pollution. PUSH BUTTINZ music appeals to the hustler on the corner, the college student, the single parent, and the elders of this society. Prepare yourself, a new day is dawning.
