Phillie Grape, came up out of Detroit, Michigan. Started off as a Fenkell baby in the hood of Brightmoor off the block of Illid. With his Farther being incarcerated for more then a decade, the young childs mother was left with a new born in a basement with no heat and little income stuck in one of Detroits hoods. After 4-5 years she got a full-time job to move her son out the hood. Later pushing him to pick up his music interests by supplying his tools for his art. By 5th grade Phillie Grape was playing the guitar, later to pick up the bass guitar, drums, microphones, synthesizer ect. While growing up in apartments all through the burbs, he picked up rap music. By high school the young artist picked up rapping as the lyrical section of his musical skills. Shortly after becoming a 2012 high school graduate, his mother passed away November 2012, leaving the talented artist no other choice but to push him self into the rap game to help deal with his daily struggles. Early 2013 Phillie grape drop his first single, 'Sittin Straight' While just catching his buzz in the streets by doing shows and promoting himself, he continues to strive on his music with plans to drop a project in the near future.
