Kid Cudi's upcoming Passion, Pain & Demon Slayin' is shaping up to be a return to form of sorts. At this weekend's Trillectro Music Festival, Cudi shared another new record, which was produced by Pharrell according to the festival's founder. It's a bouncy feel-good number, driven by horns and an infectious hook.

Showtime has released a full trailer for Spike Lee’s “Michael Jackson’s Journey from Motown to Off The Wall,” a retrospective documentary that will look at the journey Jackson took on his way to stardom and beyond. The documentary will feature interviews with all manner of artists and performers, including The Weeknd, Pharrell, Questlove and many more. Based on the official trailer, the film will hopefully include a heaping portion of live footage as well. It's always great to see the King of Pop doing his thing.

L.A.’s Power 106 annual Cali Christmas concert took place at The Forum Friday night in Inglewood, California. Taking the stage was Chris Brown, Wiz Khalifa, Ty Dolla Sign, Travis Scott, Dej Loaf, Logic, Skeme, and a special guest appearance from Pharrell Williams, who had some tricks up his sleeve for those lucky enough to be in attendance. Filmed in black and white, the video features Pharrell performing underground for a sort of post-apocalyptic mosh pit. Hype Williams, one of the most venerable music video directors of all time, is the man behind the lens.
