Thicke, alongside "Blurred Lines" co-writers T.I. and Pharrell "reluctantly" sued Gaye's family following the accusations, in an effort to clear their names.

    With his songs "Good Kisser" and "I Don't Mind" already competing (unofficially) for "R&B song of the year," Usher just revealed that he's about to drop yet another high-powered bomb on us. “She Came To Give It To You" will touch down at 7 AM tomorrow on Chicago’s WGCI 107.5, and will feature Nicki Minaj and production from Pharrell. Ursher announced the news via the radio station's Instagram account today (watch the video below).  “She Came To Give It To You" is set to appear on the R&B singer's upcoming 8th album, which is due out in September.

    According to Billboard.com, Nielsen SoundScan’s R&B/Hip Hop charts reports that album sales for R&B/Hip Hop are down 19 percent from this time last year. In 2013, 23.7 million albums were sold as opposed to this year’s 19.13 million.

    As usual, this year's BET Awards were full of surprises. Beyonce and Jay Z went into the 2014 BET Awards ceremony leading with four nominations, but this was Pharrell and August Alsina's night. With two wins each, the performers proved that their charting albums were no fluke. Williams won best male R&B/pop artist, along with best video for "Happy," while Alsina took home the award for best new artist and the Coca-Cola viewers' choice award.

P is among 30 honorees who will receive a Hollywood star in 2015, as the Walk of Fame Selection Committee announced on Thursday. His fellow honorees range from actors to producers to artists, including pop star Pitbull, Dr. Luke, Will Ferrell, Melissa McCarthy, Sofia Vergara, Amy Poehler, Kelly Ripa and Kool & The Gang.

    Although he once rapped alongside coke-rap titans Clipse on a number of their tracks, Pharrell's show-stopping appearance on Future's drug-slinging anthem "Move That Dope" was a little shocking, to say the least. Nowadays, the rapper/producer/singer is best known for his omnipresence on pop radio, whether it's via "Get Lucky," "Blurred Lines" or, most recently, his own "Happy," taken from the soundtrack of a children's film.
