Hearing Sway Calloway introduce his radio show's centerpiece, the "Five Fingers Of Death" challenge, is truly something to behold. Abruptly switching gears from his softer interview tone, he'll adopt an Ali-esque swagger and go off the top to hype up the segment, saying things like, "There ain't no smoke, there's no mirrors, this ain't Hollywood." It's theatrical, yes, but the challenge, which asks rappers to freestyle over five random (and often very eclectic) beats selected by DJ Wonder, is one of the most difficult in the industry.

Last month, Fat Joe announced that he would be releasing a a joint album with his old Terror Squad partner-in-crime Remy Ma. In an interview on N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN's 'Drink Champs' podcast, Joe discussed the album and revealed that it would be called Platas o Plomo. Money or bullets. Papoose & Remy Ma got married in 2008, at the beginning of Remy's six-year bid for shooting a woman in the abdomen. Remy became a free woman on August 1, 2014, and Thursday night they held an official wedding ceremony in Connecticut. Distinguished guests included Ice-T, Keyshia Cole, JuJu, LHH co-stars Yandy Smith, Cardi B and Bianca, Rich Dollaz, Mona Scott-Young, and Fat Joe. The ceremony will reportedly be airing on an upcoming episode of "Love and Hip Hop" in case you want to witness this historic event.

It's been a full year since Remy Ma was released Bedford Hills Correctional Facility, where she served a six year sentence. Her time spent away for charges of assault, weapon possession and coercion still weigh heavy on the rapper's mind on the anniversary of her freedom, but thanks to her friends and family, she seems to be in a good place. Remy shared some thoughts on the one year mark on Instagram earlier today.

Papoose and Remy Ma are finally back together, after Remy's prison stint came to an end last summer. In addition to working on new music individually, the two are making some joint moves. Namely, they've signed up to appear on the sixth season of the reality TV show "Love & Hip-Hop." They announced the new venture on Instagram, as seen below. The VH1 show as seen its fair share of drama (some possibly scripted, some not), so we'll have to see how Remy and Pap play into it. No word on who else will be joining the cast for season six, so stay tuned.

While it was initially reported that Remy Ma had been released from prison yesterday, contradictory reports rolled in shortly thereafter. It was said that due to a phonecall violation Ma recently committed (which may or may not have something to do with the interview she did with Angie Martinez last week), she had spent her final week in solitary confinement, and may not be released for another 7 days.

Many in attendance at Summer Jam XX yesterday were surprised to see NYC emcee Papoose perform a brief two-track set after Kendrick Lamar's exit. Although he was initially accused of "rushing" the stage, it turns out the TDE camp made the appearance happen, as Pap showed Kendrick Lamar support early in his career. The two also collaborated on a track called "Lyrical Gangsta" last year.

Papoose's debut album The Nacimera Dream was stuck in developmental hell for nearly eight years until it dropped four days ago. Unfortunately, he's since run into more red tape, this time over unauthorized Erykah Badu vocal samples on his track 'The Cure'. Although there's been no official statement from Badu's camp, the First Lady of Neo-Soul recently took to Twitter to accuse the New York rapper of using her voice without permission:

While Papoose has an extensive mixtape catalog, he has never released a full-length studio album. Fans of the rapper know that it has been long in the making, and as March fast approaches, Papoose is readying his debut album, Nacirema Dream, for release.Today the NY rapper released the cover art along with a manifesto for the LP. In the manifesto he talks about taking the extremely long time he took to release his debut, and explains the album title. Peep both above.
