As a young child (8yrs. Old) O-Dogg discovered his passion for writing music, poetry, short stories, etc. O-Dogg and his brother Playo, founded P.O.T.O.T.G Records as teenagers, releasing tapes (1998-2001) and cds (2001-2004) in elementary, middle, and high schools in Gary, IN. In 2001 the third member (T-Turner) to the label was added. O-Dogg, Playo & T-Turner's drive for musical success, convinced their father (Jerry Haymon) to invest in the record label. During this time (2004-2006) O-Dogg (as well as Playo & T-Turner) performed with national artists such as, Ying Yang Twins, Lil Scrappy, Juvenile, Devin the Dude, & more. In April of 2007, O-Dogg released his first solo, professional mixtape “Da Wake-up Call II”, successfully selling over 2,000 units in the streets of Gary, IN. Since then, O-Dogg has released a new mixtape every year, selling over 10,000 units throughout Indiana (Gary, Hammond, Indianapolis, Bloomington, East Chicago, Merrillville, Terre Haute, etc.) and in areas of Chicago, IL. While O-Dogg’s record sales continue to increase, he stays active on stage, performing weekly at open mics and also doing major shows with artists such as, Waka Flocka, Wiz Khalifa, Soulja Boy, Jodi Breeze, & more.
