Pusha T Unveils New Anti-Trump, Pro-Hillary T-Shirt
For obvious reasons, much of the rap game has rallied against the GOP presidential nominee Donald J. Trump. Fewer have been vocal of their support of his opponent, Hillary Clinton, but Pusha T is looking to change that with the latest T-shirt he has put out via his Play Cloths clothing line. "Delete Your Account," reads the new anti-Trump, pro-Hillary T-shirt, showing a bobbling Twitter icon with an "X" in its left-hand corner.
The Best Hip Hop Songs (On Spotify) Of July 2016
HNHH recently launched a Spotify playlist called FIRE EMOJI: The Hottest Hip Hop Songs Right Now. The playlist is updated on a daily basis. It lives on Spotify and thus is inherently imperfect, because not all super-hot hip hop songs have been added to Spotify. Still, the playlist is generally representative of the best new releases in hip hop.
Staff Picks Playlist (July 22)
Happy Friday, people of the internet. The end of the (work) week has proved pretty fruitful. Desiigner finally unleashed "Timmy Turner" unto the world, and the world had a lot of shit to say about it. PARTYNEXTDOOR surprised fans late last night when he not only announced a release date for long-awaited P3, but dropped a new record, "Not Nice," which makes it onto this week's Staff Picks playlist.
Nipsey Hussle Posts Selfie During Arrest
Crenshaw rapper Nipsey Hussle claims to have been arrested earlier today. He was able to post a picture to his Instagram at some point around the time of the arrest, and he revealed to his followers that police had cuffed him but had forgotten to confiscate his phone, thus allowing him to snap a quick selfie. The nature of the arrest is still unknown, as are Nipsey's current whereabouts.

Things are still unsettling in terms of our social climate, and obviously yesterday's incident at Bastille Day out in France isn't helping, leading to social media's usage of the #prayfortheworld hashtag. However on the music front, we had a pretty thriving week.
Meet Sap: One Man Hip Hop Powerhouse
Just because Sap isn’t a household name doesn’t mean you haven’t listened to him on multiple occasions. The Delaware-raised producer has been putting together high-caliber production for some of your favorite rappers for quite a few years; Meek Mill, Mac Miler, Freddie Gibbs, Wiz Khalifa, and The Game are only a few of the emcees who have graced his instrumentals since he scored his first production credit in 2008.
The Best Hip Hop Songs (On Spotify) Of June 2016
ICYMI: HNHH recently launched a Spotify playlist called FIRE EMOJI: The Hottest Hip Hop Songs Right Now. The 40-track playlist is updated on a daily basis. It lives on Spotify and thus is inherently imperfect, because not all supa-hot hip hop songs have been added to Spotify (e.g. those recent ScHoolboy Q releases). Still, the playlist is generally representative of the best new releases in hip hop.
YG's "Still Brazy" (Review)
Two years ago, My Krazy Life surprised everyone. It was a debut album made by someone whose biggest claim to fame was novelty club smash "Toot It And Boot It," but somehow, it had the scope and consistency of a select few L.A. classics-- The Chronic, Doggystyle, and more recently, good kid, m.A.A.d city.
Top 5 Childish Gambino Collaborations
Childish Gambino isn't someone who often loads his projects with features, but over the course of his career he has made some special bonds with a couple of artists, as well as experimenting with other rappers' sounds on his ROYALTY mixtape. With news that his PHAROS album is on the way in September, we've decided to revisit some of the best work Gambino has done with other artists.
Staff Picks Playlist (June 17)
We ended the week on a high note, not only because of the music we received-- it's a good day for West Coast rap lovers, with new albums from YG and The Game-- but because we launched our latest digital cover story with Bompton's aforementioned YG. Suffice to say, we're pretty content about today. On top of all this, it's Friday. So yeah, doesn't get much better.
Top Tracks: May 23 - May 29
Happy Memorial Day. The past week has been a wild one, what with the chaos at T.I.’s NYC show, Gucci Mane’s release from prison, and a new Kevin Gates tape. Summer’s officially here, so expect things to keep picking up in the rap game— we’ve got a ScHoolboy Q album, SremmLife 2, and a bunch of other heat on the way. On the top tracks side of things, there was quite a bit of turnover in our list this week, with only the bottom and top tracks from the last edition making return appearances.
Staff Picks Playlist (May 20)
As if we didn't already have our fill with last week's dose of new projects, this afternoon The Boy himself Casey Veggies slid through with Customized Greatly Vol. 4 (it's been four years since the last one), we got a joint mixtape from two inmates, one of whom is Ty Dolla $ign's brother, Big TC and D.
Did T.I. Accidentally Confirm Lauren London & Nipsey Hussle Are Expecting A Child?
There have been some rumors circulating that Lauren London and Nipsey Hussle are expecting a child together, and while London has denied the reports, T.I. has managed to bring the whole thing up again. Speaking on the upcoming film, ATL 2, Tip accidentally suggested the reason for the film's delay was due to Lauren's pregnancy.

Not gunna lie guys, there were slim pickings on Soundcloud this week.
Top Tracks: May 2 - May 8
With VIEWS out in the world and disappointing the majority of those who heard it, there's now a new music void that many rushed to fill this past week as summer rapidly approaches. Desiigner's "Panda" and Drizzy's "One Dance" are still frontrunners for the "song of the summer" title, but there's plenty of time for new entries to rise and compete with them.
Staff Picks Playlist (May 6)
Since the release of VIEWS, things have calmed down slightly, however today turned out to be a massive day for album releases, as you can tell by the multiple album streams we've posted this morning. These aren't necessarily Drake-status artists who are about to break the internet, but the quality is extremely high-- Skepta, JMSN, James Blake, Rittz, Kaytranada and Mike Posner have all dropped albums today (and I'm probably missing someone).
Where Is Nipsey Hussle? Tracking His Movements Since "Mailbox Money"
Nipsey Hussle and YG's new anti-Donald Trump anthem "Fuck Donald Trump" is a song so caustic (and black) that its music video shoot got shut down by the cops.
Top Tracks: April 25 - May 1
We've officially entered the whirlwind release period of 2016, with hip hop's (arguably) biggest current male and female stars, Drake and Beyoncé, both dropping projects in the past ten days. What's more, Chance 3 should be dropping any moment now.
YG Says The Secret Service Is Harassing His Label Over "FDT"
YG already knew he was going to have to deal with the repercussions of releasing the controversial “Fuck Donald Trump” record with Nipsey Hussle earlier this month, so it shouldn’t come as much of a shock to hear that the Secret Service is now harassing his label.
Nipsey Hussle & Young Thug To Release "Thuglife" Single Next Week
Nipsey Hussle announced that he'll be dropping a new single with Young Thug called "Thuglife" next Monday.
