Alexander Wang's show was the big event at New York Fashion Week Saturday night, and as Wang tends to be a favorite among rappers, there were many artists both in attendance and performing at the show and after party.Spectators included Kanye West, Nicki Minaj, The Weeknd, Christina Milian, Karrueche, and the now very open couple, Tyga and Kylie Jenner.

Though most of Nicki Minaj's time in NYC, as part of New York Fashion Week, will likely be spent doing magazine shoots and schmoozing with top designers, the occasion also gives her the chance to link up with her fellow stars and talk potential collaborations. It appears she did just that at tonight's Alexander Wang show, as she posted a picture alongside The Weeknd, hot off his #1 album Beauty Behind the Madness, and wrote, "Stay tuned," hinting at a future collaboration with Abel.

If Meek Mill is gonna earn redemption anywhere, it'll be in Philly. Tonight (September 5), Meek headlined at Made In America Festival in his hometown, and during his show, he brought out two guests who are very dear to his heart. After guesting on his girl's tour all summer, Meek was able to get Nicki to return the favor in Philly. "If you got love for my baby daddy, make some noise," Nicki told the Philly crowd. The couple went on to perform "All Eyes on Me," their collab off Dreams Worth More Than Money.

No one is safe from the twitter daggers of Azealia Banks. The Harlem rapper is back to her old tricks, taking to twitter to throw jabs at both Nicki Minaj and Miley Cyrus today. Even Taylor Swift got some. Basically, Miley Cyrus dropped off a free project the other day, and Azealia Banks is questioning whether or not Cyrus knows "her shit is whack as fuck." Hip-hop had a solid night, with Big Sean winning his first VMA, taking home Video With a Social Message with "One Man Can Change the World," and Fetty Wap earning the fan's vote for Artist to Watch. The annual MTV VMAs are going down this Sunday, with a slew of performers already announced. MTV isn't done yet though, after tapping The Weeknd, Pharrell, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, A$AP Rocky and others, they've announced that Nicki Minaj will open up the awards show.
