The new documentary, "Time Is Illmatic", which focuses on the influence and making of Nas' seminal debut album, has been given an October theatrical release courtesy of Tribeca. The film was picked up after premiering at the Tribeca Film Festival in April. The organization has aqcuired the North American rights to the film, and will be screening it in select cities-- some of which will be granted with a performance from the rapper.
