Two weeks ago, a Washington, D.C. family lost their apartment above a grocery store after a serious fire. Stanley Young, an unemployed construction worker and single father, has been living in a Holiday Inn with his seven children ever since. Although he's been working with the Red Cross, the District of Columbia Office of the Tenant Advocate and his church, he's running low on funds, and is required to leave the hotel by August 13th.

In a brief preview clip of Timbaland's upcoming interview with REVOLT TV, the super-producer revealed a new Nas record that came about during the Magna Carta Holy Grail recording sessions.  "Nas got a song right now with him, Jay, and Justin, and it’s completely stupid," says Timbo. "It’s called 'Sinatra In The Sand' and Justin sounds like Frank Sinatra." Also, it looks like he'll be contributing heavily to the veteran emcee's next project. "I told Jay this, the person that gets me from Hip Hop now, their album is really gonna be phenomenal, and that’s Nas."

Nas is one of the most respected emcees in the game, and it seems his clout is only growing, with the announcement that Harvard is creating a fellowship in his name. The announcement comes as a joint project between the Hip-Hop Archive and the W. E. B. Du Bois Institute at Harvard University, and is described as having the intention to “fund artists and scholars who demonstrate exceptional creative ability in the arts in connection with Hip-Hop”.
