"If its nothin to do then I make somthing to do its always work to be done.
I try keep myself busy as possible you cant half ass with this music sh**."
Says Baltimore Native Narly Fresh. Beyond his years at 26, Narly has been one of few "Bmore" rappers to
gain a fan base outside of Baltimore.
With the emergence of social media and other online outlets, Narly Fresh worked very hard at building
his online presence and brand.
"Im all about building up my fanbase and having an online presence. I think its very important
for artist to have some kinda online presence, its a must have now days, no more demos and talent shows
these lables wanna see numbers" along the way Narly says being independent taught him
to keep a tight circle, appreciate fans and to stay working.
The 26 year old Narly Fresh released his first project 'Dear Summer' the summer of 2013.
Doing better than expected the mixtape ranked in a couple hundred downloads the first day of release and
received 5 stars on major hiphop websites, for an unknown Baltimore artist it usually doesnt happen like that.
"when I released that project, I didnt think it would do the numbers it did, honestly I didnt plan on dropping
the tape just yet I had alot of songs but didnt really what to do with them.
Then one day I came up with the title of the tape at home working on mixtape artwork and it just came together."
Since then Narly has been in the studio working on 'Dear Summer 2'. He recently released a song titled 'SelfMade'
a song aimed at haters, critics and naysayers. Narly has been showing growth and that he is ready to take the
rap game by storm. The lyrics, production and swagger of the track has made 'SelfMade' one of best song to drop this year.
