Having grew up in tough parts of NYC; such as The south bronx, Neptune avenue (neighborhood of stephon marbury) and East NY members of Cloud 9 have seen their share of poverty, and crime. With the drive to escape the ghetto Cloud 9 was formed by eyob woldu to bring a group of talented friends under one name, and possibly become the next NY hip-hop sensation. 4 friends. 1 goal. making it to the top of the rap game, while trying not to become products of their environment.
