Uni (born March 24, 1989), better known by his stage name Uni-G, is an American hip hop recording artist and record producer from the Bronx New York. In 2009, he became well recognized for his hit single “Do the Cocoa Butter which made media takeout and several other blog sites the first week it dropped. Receiving so much positive feedback from his single “Do the Cocoa Butter” Uni-G teamed up with famous videographer Jordan Tower Films and released the official video on June 6th, 2011; The song has now received over 100,000 hits on the internet. The song would soon spread all over the net and into different radio stations in New York, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh and more. His long-awaited debut album titled The Commercial was released on July 26, 2012. The album which consisted of 13 tracks and hit singles such as Do The Cocoa Butter, Straight to The Head and Gonna Get Us which featured well known lyricist Joe Budden. The album release party was juxtaposed to his 2nd single “straight to the head” which starred Joe Budden as the “angry celebrity.” Uni-G is now overseeing record label offers and working alongside members of the Soulsonic Force Uni plans on going on a College tour promoting The Commercial. Uni-G sees no end to his craft and believes that limitations are only for those who believe in settling.
