19 Rappers Rapping Before The Fame
YouTube is perhaps most useful as a historical archive. When it comes to hip hop, the site is a veritable treasure trove of videos of rappers as they were before the fame, back when their music video budgets hovered in the single digits. These clips are not pretty, but grainier is almost better -- intense pixellation gives these videos the character of artifacts rather than modern footage, even if they are only a few years old.

In July, Marvel began remixing our favorite album covers, and they've since kept it going, making good on their mission to place their superheroes and comic book characters into just about every piece of classic hip-hop cover art. Normally, reworking a 2Pac record cover, as they've done today, would be blasphemy, but the artists at Marvel are always respectful of their source material, and they've reminded us of some classics that we often forget to revisit.

6 Successful Crossover Rappers
It’s often said “the grass is always greener on the other side." Hell, Ludacris has a track named after the phrase. Maybe that’s why it seems as though everyone in Hollywood wants to be in the music industry and everybody in the music industry wants to be in Hollywood (I mean, Luda of all people would understand).

He didn't forget the music, though, and A.L.L.A. is certainly his most ambitious project yet.
