Marley was born & raised In South Jamaica Queens. Growing up In an area surrounded by G-Unit fans , Maj was no stranger to the idea of groups creating frenzies. Since the age of 7 Maj (who was then known as Lil La) performed all over the city with footage to prove it. It seemed to be only a matter of time before he would get his big break, but time continued to fly. Time waits for no man , so Maj realized that he must complete this full circle on his own In 2003 , Majo along with his brother and sister created a group called We.G.I (We-Go-In). This was the first hip-hop trio since the Fugees. The family group calculated to over 6 million plays on myspace and 100,000 youtube views. Although those statistics were continuing to grow, the group still did not have enough to get off of the ground. Majo recognized the change in the game and decided to add his own twist. Instead of remixing everybody else's songs and putting them on a mixtape , Majo started to produce his own music and eventually create a name for himself.
