West Philadelphia native MJ BABY didn't grow up with the "Fresh Prince" lifestyle, a self-proclaimed "self-made" man, he and his brothers made their names hustling in the City of Brotherly Love. Despite his unlawful success in the streets, MJ BABY always had a love for music both as an artist and as a businessman. In the midst of living in the "fast life" with his brothers, he would make time to travel to New York City to offer his musical services with a fellow Philadelphia rapper. During a studio session at Trackmasters, MJ BABY was introduced to upcoming artist by the name Rich Hil. After the session, MJ BABY went back to Philly where he found himself in some trouble with the law and made the decision to become a legit businessman. Taking his hustler ambition away from the streets and putting it into his music, MJ BABY began to establish himself as an artist and ghost writer for a few upcoming rappers. While working on his own solo project trying to create a buzz in the music biz, he reconnected with Rich Hil. The two began to build a business relationship, which birthed the short lived rap duo MJ & Rich Hil. He would later be adopted into the family and the rich and famous lifestyle by fashion designer mogul Tommy Hilfiger, who also fell in love with MJ BABY style. This created the Young, Rich, & Famous movement and if you think it's just about the music, you would be surely mistaken. A soon to be mogul, MJ BABY/YRF includes film, fashion, TV and more in his empire. With a young fresh sound crossing vast genres from Rap, R&B to Rock, MJ BABY represents the future of Hip-Hop. To be Young, Rich & Famous is what everyone wants, It's the American dream. MJ currently resides in NY and LA and is working on his upcoming debut album.
