    Just a little past due this week, Lil Wayne is back with another installment of his weekly video series. For this week's episode, fans are treated to another trailer for Weezy's upcoming "Lil Wayne v. Drake" tour with Drizzy and a Capcom sponsorship. The 31-city tour kicks off in August and runs until September 27th in Drizzy's favorite spot, Houston (apart from Toronto, that is). A complete list of tour dates can be found here.

    Weezy F drummed up excitement for his upcoming album Tha Carter V as well as excitement for Drake's with the announcement of a joint tour from the two YMCMB rappers. "Drake Vs. Lil Wayne" tour was inspired by the idea of battle rap, and today we've received a short trailer for the tour. The trailer is a cartoon and has obvious comic book influences.

    Coming in a few minutes late, as usual, Lil Wayne releases the latest episode in his on-going "Weezy Wednesdays" series. This week’s clip finds Tunechi giving his thoughts on a hot topic right now in the industry in battle rapping, and last weekend’s Total Slaughter match between Joe Budden vs Hollow Da Don. Tune then weighs in on whether or not he'd ever take the challenge to battle someone, and unfortunately for us, Weezy admits he's not 'bout that life.

This week’s episode is a little different though, as its all about his daughter, Reginae Carter. Tunechi uses his Weezy Wednesday platform to go ahead and world premiere Reginae Carters' new video and single "Mind Goin' Crazy" off her debut Young Money album Becoming Reginae. Weezy also makes it very clear that Reginae is an official Young Money artist now too.

    BET weekend is already off to a big start. Future hit up L.A.'s Nokia Theatre this weekend, and the timing was just right to have a very special guest come through. After performing some of his biggest hits such as "Same Damn Time" and "Turn On The Lights", Future ripped into "Karate Chop", and following his verse, Lil Wayne showed up to fill in his very controversial 16. Wayne was strangely excited by the crowd filling in his "Emmet Till" line for him, and after delivering that verse he went straight into another collab with Future, this time his own, "Love Me".

Wayne travels from L.A. to Cannes in order to attend a special event as part of the Cannes Festival. Carter V is on the way.

For this week’s release, Lil’ Wayne pours up and teases us with the intro to a new song titled “D’usse.” Produced by DJ Nasty, of the Nasty Beatmakers, the song is named after the D’USSÉ VSOP Cognac, which is owned by Jay Z.

    Rick Ross interpolated a couple of classic hip hop cuts on his recent album, Mastermind, including Biggie's "You're Nobody (Til Somebody Kills You)". The second of which is Souls Of Michief's "93 'Til Infinity", which "Thug Cry" borrows its beat from. The 90s-channeling track has now been given the visual treatment, and unlike the clip for "The Devil Is A Lie", the featured artist (who happens to be Lil Wayne) actually shows up this time.

    Weezy Season is upon us, and apparently that consists of various athletes posting Carter V promo to their respective social media accounts. Earlier in the week, Kobe Bryant posted a promotional image to Twitter, which was quickly confused for the official cover to C5, and now, Professional Boxer Floyd Mayweather has joined in on the hype cycle. Today, an Instagram video appeared on the fighter's account, depicting Wayne and Drake vibing out in the studio, as an instrumental (presumably from the album) plays.
