Young Thug's Most Controversial Moves
Scrolling through the comments on a Young Thug Instagram post is an experience like no other, even in an age when being able to hide behind a computer screen has made disparaging trolls out of nearly all of us. A simple photo of Thugger in an all-red outfit, posted three days ago, currently has about 1000 comments, most of them negative, and about a third of which focus on his perceived homosexuality.
Lil Wayne Moves His Cash Money Lawsuit To New Orleans
Earlier today, we posted that Lil Wayne had dropped his $51 million lawsuit against Birdman and Cash Money Records. According to Wayne's lawyer, Ron Sweeney, however, the lawsuit is still on. Ranking Lil Wayne's 13 Mixtapes From Worst To Best
Lil Wayne didn't get the nickname "Mixtape Weezy" for nothing. Over the course of hip-hop history, very few artists have used the art of the mixtape to their advantage as well as Weezy F. It's helped to blow up the likes of Wiz Khalifa, A$AP Rocky and even Drake over the past decade, but Wayne's 13 mixtapes came when he was already a star. He didn't need the tapes to become a star, but they certainly propelled him in to GOAT territory by simply crushing the output of his competitors.
Lil Wayne Drops Lawsuit Against Cash Money
Though we're still awaiting the Free Weezy Album any time now, it appears the situation between Lil Wayne and Birdman isn't as dire as we once thought. Over two months after filing suit, reports now say Wayne has decided to drop the $51 million lawsuit against his mentor and record label.

Lil Wayne Fan Who Was Sucker-Punched By Security Could Potentially Sue
Last week, we saw footage of Lil Wayne calling a "white boy" out for throwing a beer at him (based on the assumption that only white dudes drink the stuff, as well as some subsequent footage of a fan being sucker punched by a security guard. While the initial report linked the two incidents, there was no clear connection between them based on the footage. We wish we had been in South Beach last night. Young Money's showcase at the Red Bull Guest House weekend was capped off by a headlining performance from Lil Wayne. Weezy was the last to hit the stage at an all-day pool party that featured DJ sets by Questlove, Hudson Mohawke, and Mannie Fresh. Mannie also got up on stage during Wayne's set, so we hope that's a signal of a future collab from the two (former) Cash Money brethren.

Since his announcement, Weezy has gained 1.6 million followers, which isn’t so bad for someone without a picture/post until a few hours ago.

The relationship between Christina Milian and Lil Wayne remains mysterious. Is it strictly business, with Weezy F helping give Milian a much-needed publicity and/or career boost, or is it a matter of two Young Money artists in lurve?

Auto-tune was something of a taboo in rap, for some it may always be, but for the most part, it's been accepted as a common songwriting tool. As prevalent as it may be today, there was only on figure who can really be attributed with popularizing the effect, and that's T-Pain (sorry, Cher).

Lil Wayne Announces "Sorry 4 The Wait 2" Release Party Tour
Lil Wayne's Sorry 4 The Wait 2 was an important mixtape, if only that it was the first time Wayne expressed his frustration with Cash Money on record.
