In the past few years, a number of teenage rappers from Chicago have gone viral thanks to breakout music videos filled with violent paraphernalia. The latest is "Drill Time" rapper Slim Jesus -- wait, Jesus isn't from Chicago, he's from Hamilton, Ohio. But he does make drill music that is clearly indebted to the genre created by young Chicago rappers. Jesus' breakout hit, "Drill Time," has caused some controversy and it has prompted other rappers to respond with diss tracks.
Lil Mouse Disses Slim Jesus Again With "Nail Em To The Cross"
Young Slim Jesus has been hit with another diss track from (even younger) Lil Mouse. The 16-year-old Chicago rapper first went at the 18-year-old Hamilton (Ohio) rapper on "Kill Time," which found Mouse rapping over the instrumental to "Drill Time," the song and viral video that first gave Jesus widespread recognition.
Lil Mouse Accused Of Assaulting & Threatening Third-Grader
Lil Mouse, a thirteen-year-old rapper, has only been in the game for short minute, but he's no stranger to the usual rapper antics, including trouble with the law. Last we heard about Lil Mouse, the event he was performing at got shot up, leaving seven people injured. Now, more violence has been reported in Lil Mouse's life.

Chicago can't seem to catch a break. Although the city reported it's lowest monthly homicide rate in 55 years almost three weeks ago, yesterday seven people were shot during an album release party in the Gresham neighborhood of South Side Chicago.
