Wrath Of The Based God: A History Of Lil B's Disses & Curses
Never before has a rapper been as inextricably linked to the NBA playoffs as Lil B has been in 2015. Dishing out warnings, curses and pardons like he's a 14th century pope, the Based God's been central to the conversation around the games, interacting with rappers on Twitter, attending games to strengthen his magic and even popping up on ESPN to clarify just who's on his shit list.
Lil B Accuses Chedda Da Connect Of Stealing His Swag On "Flicka Da Wrist"
Lil B has been out here for the pst few weeks. In case you missed it, he's been (attempting to) wreak havoc upon the NBA playoffs with his notorious curses, but today, he turns his attention to music. After letting us know that James Harden is unworthy of his cooking dance, Based God now claims that Chedda Da Connect's breakout single "Flicka Da Wrist" is guilty of "stealing Lil B swag."
Lil B To Deliver Lecture At UCLA This Thursday
Lil B cannot be stopped. First he cursed James Harden earlier this week. Now he's announced that he will deliver a lecture at UCLA this upcoming Thursday. UCLA Students only, sorry everyone else... but where there's a will there's a way.

Frank Ocean Is Interviewing Lil B For His New Magazine
Based God was right -- this was the statement Frank Ocean chose to share before opening up about his sexuality on Tumblr back in 2012. Obviously, Lil B has inspired the reclusive singer, and thus it makes sense that the Oakland rapper will be featured in his new magazine, Boys Don't Cry.
Lil B Accuses Hotel Staff Of Stealing $10,000 From His Room
Throughout his career, Lil B has done nothing but give, whether it be free music, positive advice, or follows on Twitter, so it saddens us to hear that he's had $10,000 in cash taken from him. The Based God has accused the staff of Red Lion Hotel in Oakland of taking money from his room while he was out today.
10 Producer Remixes That Were Better Than The Original
With the evolution of producer software, everyone can make beats on their computer. It doesn't take a lot of money or studio time to learn how to chop up samples, loop drum patterns, and create something great. And we're finding more and more beatmakers are making quality tracks.
Lil B Is Doing Another Lecture This Month
Since his well-documented NYU lecture a few years back, Lil B has become a hot commodity as a motivational speaker. The Based God brought his gospel to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology just a few months back, and today announced that he's landed yet another gig, this time at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh. Taking to Twitter to spread the good news, the Bitch Mob rapper let his followers know that the event would be going down February 25th, and would be a student-only event (sorry non-CMU fans!).
TYBG: A Breakdown Of Lil B's Fans & Critics
Let’s get this out of the way up front. Lil B is not really a good rapper by almost any metric. This piece isn’t going to be some contrarian-for-click’s-sake editorial telling you that the Based God should have a bust in between Rakim and the Dipset Weed-Carriers Wing in the Hip-Hop Hall of Fame.
Lil B Saved From House Fire By Teenager
Early this morning, Lil B was awoken by someone banging on his door. That person was Mateo Ysmael, a resident of the same two-story duplex in Contra Costa County, CA, and to whom Lil B now admits he owes his life. An electrical fire had spread through the residence, and B was one of seven alerted to the news by Ysmael.
Frank Ocean & Lil B Are Working On New Music Together
Frank Ocean has been pretty reclusive over the past year. After releasing his debut album, Channel Orange, to both critical acclaim and Grammys (a weirdly rare feat to get both these days), he disappeared, deleting his Twitter account and rarely doing interviews. Still, we've been told that Frank has been working on his sophomore effort since only a couple months after Orange dropped, so as far as we know, he's been holed up working on music all this time.
"Hate Speech" Causes Facebook To Temporarily Deactivate Lil B's Account
Apparently free speech does not exist on Facebook because last night Lil B got his profile disabled for 30 days by the powers that be for a post. Yes, that's right. A teeny-tiny, one sentence post against America was enough to incite Facebook to block the Bay Area rapper. The post, which said, "If you were born in the 1950's or before and your family did not push to have segregation and slavery stop ur grandparents are pussy," got over a thousand "likes" before Facebook got wind of it and shut it down.
Lil B Talks Working With Lil Wayne, YouTube Partnership At MIT Lecture [Update: Watch The Full Talk]
Lil B delivered his first lecture in 2012 at NYU, which generated a lot of attention, and inspired some very thoughtful pieces. Most of all, Lil B's words were sincere and uplifting, which is why the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (which happens to be ranked as the number one university in the world) asked him to speak to students this week.
