- Why I Do
Kutta Boi ( Cut-a-boy )is a well-rounded record producer, writer, rapper, and singer from Dallas, TX. Influenced by such producers as Dr. Dre, Timbaland, Pharrell Williams, Kanye West, Polow Da Don, Jazze pha, Bryan-Michael Cox, Mannie Fresh, Will-I-Am, Swizz Beats, Organized Noize, and Beats by the Pound/The Medicine Men, He has always strived to be different from the rest of the many producers in his region. As a child, he had dreams of being a rapper, until he found a stronger love for writing and producing. In 2011 Kutta Boi was hard at work to complete Tiffany Tatum’s album entitled All About Me (2012 release) in which he wrote and produced majority of the tracks. That was the first time that he produced any work for an R&B artist. Formerly known as ThundaKat, it was mid-2012 when he decided to make the name change to Kutta Boi. With his eyes to the future, he is still creating hip hop tracks, but also has a new found love for producing R&B.
