Starting with a basic recording program and a basic studio microphone, he put together his first mixed tape! As time passed, he developed skills in which some people might say are idyllic, forming a style and voice from inspiring artists such as Plies, Wale, and J. Cole. “Every day was a different experience,” says Kodac, “and like I always say, you’ve got to spend money to make money, and hard work pays off!” Now 21 years old, Kodac has started his own production company, P.B.P (Paper Boi Productions), and is working his way to the top of the music industry.
