If you're a human on planet Earth who doesn't live under a rock, chances are you heard about Rachel Dolezal this weekend. Basically, the tl;dr version is this: she's been the president of the Spokane NAACP chapter for a while, but stepped down after it was revealed that she had no black ancestry. For all these years, she'd identified as black. On Comedy Central's "Nightly Show," host Larry Wilmore called upon Killer Mike to share his thoughts on the matter.

Killer Mike
Killer Mike is the most gifted political mind in hip hop right now, so fittingly, his interviews tend to take on a more serious tone. Most recently, this meant appearing on Bill Maher's show to talk about Bill O'Reilly's disparaging comments about the rap community. Today though, we get something completely different: a smoked out, chill interview on Snoop Dogg's GGN program.

Bill O'Reilly recently blamed rap music for yet another issue in America. Well, whether it's an "issue" is kind of a relative matter, but Bill certainly isn't pleased with the decline of Christianity among youths, and he feels hip-hop is the culprit. The always to-the-point Killer Mike joined Bill Maher to talk about O'Reilly's remarks, suggesting the FOX anchor was "more full of shit than an outside," among other quotables.

Run The Jewels have one of the year's best hip-hop albums (or, if you ask the right people, the album of the year among all genres) with their incendiary Run The Jewels 2 topping its predecessor in ways we would've deemed unliekly before we heard the project. Run The Jewels
Run The Jewels' monster of a track "Blockbuster Night Pt. 1" opens with the sound of sirens blaring, so it's only fitting that the first thing we see in its new music video is an ambulance. Piloted by Killer Mike and El-P, who play the role of EMTs, the emergency vehicle also contains a terrified passenger who's powerless to do anything but watch as these two wild rappers embark on various hijinks. As the video was released on MTV, we only get the edited cut of the song, but at least Mike and El are still allowed to blaze Js in the ambulance.
