With VIEWS out in the world and disappointing the majority of those who heard it, there's now a new music void that many rushed to fill this past week as summer rapidly approaches. Desiigner's "Panda" and Drizzy's "One Dance" are still frontrunners for the "song of the summer" title, but there's plenty of time for new entries to rise and compete with them.

Charts Don't Lie: January 6th
We didn't see many debuts this week, but pretty much all the big rap releases of 2015 experienced a considerable push. The most logical explanation would be that many of the most popular rap albums depend on streams to chart, and when Christmas rolled around, physical and iTunes copies were being sold a whole lot more, but it was pop releases like Adele's back catalog that saw the greatest boost. Now, that the surge is over, heavily streamed albums are now back in their rightful positions.
Top Tracks: December 28 - January 3
Welcome to 2016, y'all. Did anything really change on January 1st, aside from waking up with a crippling hangover? Well, it certainly feels that way in the rap world, as some of the genre's biggest stars have made sure to come out with forceful statements that conveniently arrived in sync with the New Year.
Top Tracks: December 21 - December 27
Things were just beginning to slow down, as we had spent enough time arguing over the year's best music with a series of year-end lists and were ready to start thinking about what's in store for 2016. As we approached the holidays, though, some of our favorite artists were feeling particularly generous and gifted us with a wealth of new material.

10. Fetty Wap - Jimmy Choo It's been less than two months since Fetty Wap's debut self-titled album, which went No. 1, and he's already dropped a joint tape with French Montana and has another EP in the works. "Jimmy Choo," dedicated to the Malaysian fashion designer, would sound nicely on the upcoming release. It's softer than most of Fetty's radio anthems, as Zoovier channels the sound of his new life of luxury.
Stream E-40's "Choices (Yup)" Remixes Featuring 50 Cent, Snoop Dogg, & More
Almost certainly E-40's biggest hit from the past year is his silly and infectious "My Dick"-esque anthem "Choices (Yup)." The bundle features 5 songs, 4 remixes and the original. 40 busted out the big guns, scoring verses from fellow veterans 50 Cent, Snoop Dogg, and Rick Ross as well as 20-something mainstays French Montana, Migos, and Kid Ink. One of the remixes is Houston centric, with verses from Slim Thug, Z-Ro, and Kirk Bangz.

Earlier this week, producer Beatmonster Marc posted a seemingly harmless video of himself hanging out with a bunch of guys, one of whom happened to be London on da Track, while a Young Thug song plays in the background. During the clip, though, the camera passes over a TV monitor, on which there appears to be video of two men hooking up.
