Kid Cudi Announces "Speedin Bullet 2 Heaven" Release Date
Kid Cudi let us hear some new joints off his upcoming album, Speedin' Bullet 2 Heaven (it appears he's switched up the "to" for a number two), all of which received a very lukewarm if not cold reception on the site ("Wedding Tux" and "Judgemental Cunt").
Kid Cudi Says He Will Work With Plain Pat & Emile For A "MOTM3" Album [Update: Expect "MOTM3" In 2015]
Kid Cudi has constantly been growing and re-inventing his sound as he matures as an artist. His maturation included doing a rock album, WZRD, and leaving the G.O.O.D. Music label to focus on his own imprint.

Is it just me, or have the past few weeks felt like the calm before the storm? After all of the TLOP hubbub died down (this is the first week in a long time that we haven't had a Kanye solo joint in our top ten list), we've had quite a lack of releases from rap's upper echelon. Teasers, singles, and release date announcements seem to keep flooding in, but this Friday, when A$AP Ferg releases Always Strive And Prosper, things will really get cooking.
Kid Cudi Cancels “Especial” Tour
After hearing that Chris Brown has cancelled his upcoming Australian & New Zealand tour dates, it appears Kid Cudi has done the same now.
5 Things We Want From Kid Cudi's "Speedin' Bullet To Heaven"
Although it doesn’t yet have a release date, Kid Cudi’s Speedin’ Bullet To Heaven seems like it could arrive any day now. Back on the Fourth of July, Cudder said the album was 98% done, and with the first single (“Confused”) dropping last week, we’re now officially in #CudderSeason. Details on the album are scarce thus far, but the Cleveland MC has said that it’ll be largely based around live instrumentation and won’t have any featured vocalists.
Album Snippets For Kid Cudi's "INDICUD"
Since announcing his (what seemed like sudden) departure from G.O.O.D. Music yesterday, Kid Cudi has continued, business as usual, with his album promo.
6 Artists That Probably Influenced Kid Cudi's "Speedin' Bullet To Heaven"
Kid Cudi has been a bit of a WTF story over the past few years. Mr. Rager exploded onto the scene with a couple of mixtapes and a couple solid albums, some that people may even call classics of the 2010 era. He caught the attention of Kanye West and Jay Z while appealing to the indie crowd with MGMT samples. At one point, he was destined to be the next greatest thing in rap music. Then he stopped making rap.
Kid Cudi Says "Speedin' Bullet To Heaven" Is 98% Done, Single Out This Month
Kid Cudi has been hard to predict over the last few years, and it seems his upcoming album, Speedin' Bullet To Heaven, is yet another curveball.Addressing fans in Twitter, Cudi gave an update on the project, which he revealed in 98% done. More interestingly, the rapper revealed that not only will SBTH be entirely self-produced (with some assistance from Plain Pat), there will be a complete absence of electronic sounds, as the instrumentals will consist entirely of his own guitar and bass playing.

We're quickly approaching the holidays, which means the year-end lists are in full effect. While many of us are looking back at the abundance of great music that's dropped over the past 50 weeks, some of our favorite rappers are showing no signs of showing down. Shortly after dropping his Black Friday remix package with Kendrick Lamar, J.
The "Internet Rapper" Phenomenon
Since debuting in 2008, XXL's annual Freshman Class feature has had its fair share of questionable choices (such as Kidd Kidd appearing a full eight years after we first heard him on "Mrs. Officer") and flops, not to mention numerous omissions of rappers who've gone onto stardom. It's never exactly been considered a finger-on-the-pulse-type source for new talent, but rather a conversation starter and surface-level barometer for casual hip-hop hobbyists.
Kid Cudi Hits Studio With Emile Haynie, Updates Fans On "Man On The Moon 3"
It appears as though Kid Cudi's Man on the Moon 3 album could finally be getting underway.
Kid Cudi Imagines His Death On A Poem Shared On Twitter
Kid Cudi is coming back into the fray in more ways than one. He recently announced his next album, the feature-less Speedin' Bullet to Heaven, will be out "really really soon," and next week, we can catch Cudder in the "Entourage" movie, in which he'll play Ari Gold's personal assistant. There's long been both music and acting for Cudi but, this morning, we found out he also fancies himself quite the poet.
Kid Cudi Talks Playing A Gay Character In "James White", Cut Kissing Scenes
While Cudi has seemingly been keeping a low profile from a public standpoint, it turns out he's been working hard on both acting and music in over the last year. While we heard news that he just wrapped filming a new movie with Zoe Kravitz last week, the Man On The Moon had a premiere at Sundance just this weekend, acting in and providing the score for Josh Mond's "James White".
Pulling A "Beyonce": The Surprise Album Phenom
The trend of surprise albums has definitely caused a shift in the traditional method of releasing music. Interviews, music videos and singles are still protocol (well, usually), but we’ve watched the likes of Jay Z, Beyonce, Kanye West, Skrillex, J. Cole etc. trade customary release dates for something a little more exciting and spontaneous.
Kanye West Brings Out Jeezy & Kid Cudi For "808s & Heartbreak" Show, Experiences Technical Difficulties
Last night (Sept. 25), Kanye West performed 1 of 2 "808s & Heartbreak" shows at the Hollywood Bowl. It's been nearly 7 years since 'Ye released his 4th studio album, which is now hailed as one of the most game-changing hip-hop releases of the past decade. For his back to back shows in L.A., West wanted to perform the album front-to-back. He attempted to do just that on night 1, though, unfortunately, the performance proceeded more as a "dress rehearsal" than a seamless rendition of the album.
Kid Cudi Is The New Face Of Coach
Kid Cudi has never been afraid to be himself and try different business ventures outside of the music industry. With recent stints on CBS’ show 'Scorpion', as well as the upcoming film "Vincent-N-Roxxy", Cudder is now getting himself involved with popular handbag company, Coach, and becoming the face of their Dreamers campaign.

Filming For Kid Cudi's New Movie With Zoe Kravitz Is Complete
Kid Cudi has proved his acting chops over the years, performing bit roles in Brooklyn Nine-Nine, How To Make It In America and more. Recently, he seems to be taking his film career a little more seriously, scoring parts in the Need For Speed, the upcoming Entourage movie, and the Emile Hirsch and Zoe Kravitz-starring Vincent-N-Roxxy. While Vincent-N-Roxxy does not yet have a release date, filming for the flick wrapped today, as Cudder documented on his Instagram, posting a photo of him and Zoe kicking it.

Drake’s dominance has started to slip. While Drizzy’s obviously still around-- it wouldn’t be the Top 10 without him-- we’ve moved away from the ridiculous all-OVO, all-the-time charts of last week. Let’s get to the Top 10 entries on our Top 100. 10) Mac Miller - 100 Grandkids
The 10 Best R&B/Rap Covers Of Classic Songs
Searching "rap covers" online is like walking into a minefield of acoustic guitars and webcams, leftovers from a war that began with Ben Folds' famous version of Dr. Dre's "Bitches Ain't Shit." An earnest-sounding white dude with a guitar and an angelic backing choir singing things like "Lick on these nuts and suck the dick" was (believe it or not) novel at some point, but now that approach has been beaten to death. Last year, for example, a ten year old covered "Trap Queen."
