Kid Cudi stopped by Arsenio Hall's show yesterday, where he discussed what he'd change about hip hop, dealing with suicidal thoughts, and how things would change if he rapped about what he had. After talking a bit about his extensive car collection, Arsenio asked the rapper how things would be different if he decided to rap about his many material possessions, to which he responded jokingly, "there would be no Drake".

There are only two new entries within the top 10 of the Billboard 200 this week, and they belong to two rappers: ScHoolboy Q and Kid Cudi. As we said last week, Q was projected to move 150-160k, but fell slightly under that by moving 138,950 copies opening week. This was nevertheless an extremely strong showing from the TDE rapper, which gave him his first #1 debut as well as that of the label's.

Kid Cudi recently announced to fans that what was originally simply a prelude EP to MOTM3 had turned into a full-length project. The ablum, Satellite Flight, is supposed to drop in February although we've yet to receive an exact date. We're supposed to get 24 hour notice before the project's release.

Kid Cudi got plenty of fans pumped in October when he announced that he would be recording a Man On The Moon 3 album as well as a prelude EP to arrive prior to the album. He made the announcement during a live show, and didn't reveal the EP's title at that time. Today, Cudder took to Twitter to gives fans the title and word that it's "coming soon," although who knows how soon "soon" is.

We've seen Kid Cudi's acting chops in the now-cancelled "How To Make It In America" as well as an appearance on "The Cleveland Show," and while we await new music from the rapper we'll be seeing him act once more in a Fox comedy, "Brooklyn Nine-Nine." The comedy centers around a diverse group of detectives in New York City, and Cudder will play an ex-con by the name of Dustin Whitman, whom Jake (played by Andy Samberg) believes robbed a jewelry store. You'll be able to catch him in the third episode of the new season. The TV series premieres on September 17th on Fox.
