From Kendrick Lamar to Snoop Dogg to MC Hammer to 50 Cent (!), here are 20 hip hop artists who took the mound for the ceremonial first pitch.

It's been three and a half years since Kendrick Lamar last jumped on a DJ Khaled track, when he appeared next to J. Cole and Big K.R.I.T. on "They Ready," off Khaled's 2012 album Kiss the Ring. Though Kendrick's style isn't exactly suited for Khaled's usual street/club hybrid anthems, there's no star whom the We the Best boss can't inspire, and he's eager to get back in the studio with K. Despite zero promotion, it's still the top-selling hip-hop album of 2016, though it didn't have to compete with the TIDAL-only release of The Life of Pablo.
