Keith "Streetz" Carmichael was born April 16th, 1990 in Columbus by Simone Jones and Keith Carmichael Sr. As a child he was always into something, a very hipper but yet artistic kid who played football. He grew up in the rough Short North neighborhood in the 90s where it was at its worst living with his grandmother, mom, and cousins while his father was incarcerated. So with a beginning like that he was exposed to the rough streets early so when he began rapping that’s all he knew to rap about. Young producer/rapper started off rapping at the age of 11 on the corner spitting bars for the dope boys in his neighborhood and his father's barbershop and has grown to be one of those most talked about underground artist in Columbus. In his 11th grade year at Walnut Ridge he learned how to make beats and since has developed a unique style that makes him stand out among others. He came on the seen as a young MC in a group with his high school friends called "Street Wyze Mafia" recorded his 1st song called "Money First" which he produced. In 2010 he linked up with his big cousin like friend who is also a rapper from East Columbus named "XB Strange" and formed a movement/group called "ETMG" which stands for "Educated Thug Music Group" and the two have been flooding the Columbus streets & underground hip-hop scene since. He known for his original style beats sampling from artist like Boosty Coolins, Sade', Pink Floyd, and almost any sample you throw at him. He made a huge buzz last year producing XB Strange entire mix-tape called "The 28th Gram" and shot his 1st video with XB for a song called "Wake & Bake" and now is currently working on his 1st solo project the highly anticipated "808's & Hood Stories" and producing beats for other local artist threw Columbus. So be on the watch for Keith Streetz because he's on the rise.
