Not easily satisfied With the title "rapper" Kevin "Kaye Trill" Tanner considers himself a motivational speaker, setting out to speak to the part in the human body that makes the soul get up and move to his music. This basketball player turned rapper made his way from South Dallas Texas to Washington DC for college which led him to pursue music full time. In the spring of 2010 he released his single "Pour It Up" after linking up with Mizfitz Soundz, one of the most successful indie labels in Baltimore and soon opened up for artists such as Wale, Fat Joe, and performing and dozens of 1,000+ venues. Meeting fellow Hippie Life Krew member itz2eazy they found out they had a common goal of showing the area a different side of music, and linked up with fellow artists and producers in the areas to showcase their talent and in turn were invited to do many shows in the area. With such early success under his belt, Kaye Trill is motivated to show the world a new vibe to music with his soon to be released Mixtape "Alterego." "Alterego is a mix of what is going on I'm my life as well as the person you see on stage, you can expect a lot of unusual hits as well as a heavy southern drawl. His Follow up single "Midget In The Trunk" has already had the DMV area in a buzz as well as his hometown of Dallas, not to mention with him being a dedicated advocate in giving back to the community with local and national charities. "I love to perform and I love to give my fans a great show, so you will often see me jump off stage and interact with my audience" - says Trill. A gifted young man with his head on straight will be a force to reckon with in the near future.
