Heard 'Em Say
Kanye West Feat. Adam Levine
Kanye West's "All Day" blew everyone's minds yesterday, so we thought we'd look back to one of the rapper's classic singles as our throwback. "Heard 'Em Say" may not be your immediate pick for the best of Kanye's back catalog, but it's hard to deny that Jon Brion bassline, and proves that Kanye has been talking politics and race from day 1, even if he wasn't yelling ("and I know that the government administer AIDS").
One Man Can Change The World (Statik Selektah Remix)
Big Sean Feat. Kanye West & John Legend
As Big Sean's forthcoming album Dark Sky Paradise had the cocky, brash and somewhat petty "IDFWU" as its lead single, it was jarring in the best way possible to hear him drop "One Man Can Change The World," which is pretty much the polar opposite. Now veteran producer Statik Selektah has offered up a remix of the Kanye West and John Legend-featuring cut.
One Man Can Change The World
Big Sean Feat. Kanye West & John Legend
Before Dark Sky Paradise arrives next week, Big Sean’s highly anticipated record “One Man Can Change The World” featuring Kanye West & John Legend has surfaced online tonight by way of early pre-orders.
"Appreciate Ya", the latest leak from Joell Ortiz, proves that real lyricism is still alive and well. In true rapper's rapper fashion, the NY MC unleashes a flood of dope bars and slick metaphors over a soulful production laced by the often overlooked Heatmakerz. The song, which was premiered by Funkmaster Flex, also features audio of an old Funk Flex interview with Kanye West and Pusha T, where both Ye and Push praise the Slaughterhouse member's lyrical capabilities. Mr. West even calls Ortiz "fresh." How fresh do you think this new joint from Joell Ortiz is?
Big Sean Feat. Drake & Kanye West
Big Sean said there was new music coming, and boi did he deliver. Linking back up with Drizzy Drake, Sean decides to liberate this monster Vinylz-produced collab titled "Blessings".
Last night, Kanye West dropped "Only One," his latest masterpiece track about his mother. Not many rappers have given us such an honest window into their relationships with their moms (other than 2Pac), but with tracks like "Family Business" and "Coldest Winter," West has time and time again shown love to the late Donda West.
Kanye West Feat. Paul McCartney
Well here’s a nice way to ring in your 2015. Outta nowhere, Kanye West decides to treat fans to his new single “Only One” featuring Paul McCartney.
Chief Keef Feat. Kanye West
Chief Keef has a good number of projects slated for release in the near future, but perhaps the most anticipated is Nobody, mainly due to the fact that a snippet of the title track has had fans patiently awaiting its arrival ever since hitting the web this summer.
Pusha T has been noticeably absent from our lives. The G.O.O.D. Music and former Clipse MC is all about high-quality rhymes and production, so that tends to mean he puts out less (but in a less-is-more sort of way). We've seen him appear as a feature, recently on he popped up on electronic producer Tiga's "Bugatti" record for something different. However now we find him back at what he does best, menacing bars over a crazy beat. Literally the beat sounds a bit bi-polar. Does it work?
Flicker (Kanye West Remix)
With the "Hunger Games: Mockingjay Pt. 1" soundtrack dropping next week on November 17th, the label decided to come through tonight and drop off another track from the project, with Kanye West reworking Lorde's "Flicker." Although Kanye doesn't have a verse or any vocal additions on this joint, he does flip the instrumental, by slowing it down and adding his Yeezy touch to the dark remix. In addition to this song, the soundtrack will also feature a record from Ariana Grande, as well as the much-anticipated collaboration from Pusha T, Q-Tip, HAIM, and Lorde.
Theophilus London Feat. Kanye West
When a snippet of Theophilus London's highly anticipated record with Kanye West surfaced the other month, it was quickly taken down. Now, a week before Theophilus' Vibes album is expected to arrive we get to hear the full version of the song thanks to a full album stream the rapper put out. The album is also executive produced by Kanye West.
The past week hasn't been going very smoothly for Tyga, as he just tweeted his frustrations with his label and claimed they were "holding [him] hostage." But it now seems as though his comments may have spurred a change, as "40 Mill," the hotly-anticipated single from his upcoming Gold Album, just dropped on iTunes.
Since winning over the hearts of the alt-rap crowd with his indie-leaning mixtapes like the Elvis Costello and Smiths-spoofing This Charming Mixtape back in the late '00s, Theophilus London has remained relatively quiet. That will change on October 27th, when the quirky rapper releases his sophomore album, Vibes, which was executive produced by Kanye West.
I Don't Fuck With You
Big Sean Feat. E-40
The Big Sean music continues. After announcing he signed to Roc Nation for management last night, Sean Don has rolled out four new records for the fans to consume this afternoon. Among them, he's got production from Mike WiLL Made It on "Paradise", and for "I Don't Fuck With You" he nabs production from G.O.O.D.
Theophilus London Feat. Kanye West
Theophilus London is getting ready to release his new album, Vibes, in October but before he does, he’s got some more promoting to do first. And what better way is there to get attention to your project than recruiting a feature from Mr. Kanye West?
Black Bruce Wayne
Okay so here's the deal...Apparently someone in the KanyeToThe forum leaked this previously unheard snippet of Kanye West material, after another KTT member got it from someone in the industry and sold it to the leaker for $500. According to KTT, this snippet (titled as "Black Bruce Wayne") is from Yeezy's new album, although we're not quite sure that's true, as it doesn't necessarily sound like the direction 'Ye has been heading these days (although it does sound pretty dope, based off the 32-second snippet, which contains only 12 seconds of Yeezy raps).
God Level (Longer Version)
A clip from Kanye West's "God Level" just appeared in a new Adidas ad, but a longer and better quality version has now surfaced online. It's largely an instrumental offering, with 'Ye only appearing intermittently over the 2:36 runtime. According to Hudson Mohawke, this is not the final form of the song, so chances are there will be more Kanye vocals arriving soon.
Stream and/or download "Share," the latest offering from Philadelphia emcee Privaledge, produced by YBL's Herb Beats. It samples Jay Z, Kanye West and Beyonce's Watch The Throne collaboration "Lift Off," produced by Don Jazzy, Jeff Bhasker, Mike Dean and Yeezus himself. Thoughts on the record?
Tree released one of the year's best projects with The @MCTREEG EP earlier this year, and today he's released a brand new freestyle over a well-known Chicago rap song. The rapper takes on Kanye West's "Devil In A New Dress", well-suited instrumental for Tree, who's made his name off of soul-sampling beats. The rapper brings his very bluesy baritone out for the occasion, successfully making the well-known instrumental his own.
Jeremiah Jae Feat. FABLE
Chicago's Jeremiah Jae isn't your common garden-variety rapper, as he showed on his extremely blunted mixtape Good Times, released earlier this week. The Flying Lotus-associated MC has a love for dusty, old-school samples the likes of which show up on "Get Mine," a highlight from the tape.
