Kanye's VMA speech was a rare moment where everyone seemed to be on the rapper's side, even when he announced he'd be running for president in 2020. The support for Kanye's campaign has continued throughout the week, and as it happened to be the hot topic, Ice Cube was asked about his stance on the matter in an interview with the Daily Mail. Naturally, he was on board. "I'm voting for Kanye," said Cube confidently, suggesting West is pretty much the best man for the job. "Why not? Who Else? Who's better than Kanye to run?"

If Taylor Swift presenting Kanye West with this year’s Video Vanguard Award wasn’t a sign of their friendship coming full circle, then the flowers Yeezy just sent over sure should be. On Friday afternoon, Taylor took to twitter to show off a bouquet of white flowers that Kanye sent to her in what appears to be a thank you for presenting him with the Vanguard award last weekend. She then responded with hash tags #BFF & #KanTay2020, which presumes to be a joke about her joining Kanye on the 2020 presidency run.

The ladies did very well at the VMAs this year. Though Nicki Minaj was initially pissed she didn't get nominated for Video of the Year, which ultimately Taylor Swift, she took home both Best Female Video and Best Hip-Hop Video with "Anaconda." Hip-hop had a solid night, with Big Sean winning his first VMA, taking home Video With a Social Message with "One Man Can Change the World," and Fetty Wap earning the fan's vote for Artist to Watch.
